Cold Blood Legacy (2019)
What protagonist?
Great scenery but lousy script. Among the potential criticisms is the failure to develop a protagonist that the viewer can empathize with. Charlie is a bitter and bratty character. I found myself rooting for the not-so-villainous Henry instead.
The Ashram (2018)
A film in need of acting
The plot has a potentially intriguing storyline but the acting, especially that of Jamie, is terrible. This could have been a very good movie with just a couple of casting changes. Scenery is awesome.
Hope at Christmas (2018)
That liar Santa Claus.
I liked the movie even though it follows the standard Hallmark Christmas story template. They are, in fact, uplifting, even though first kisses are always interrupted. My one big complaint points to the lame conflicts that always show up near the end. The one in this movie is particularly ridiculous. Anyone who would back out of a budding relationship over a harmless Santa Claus issue is someone you should probably steer clear of. It didn't even make sense and lacked credibility. Why bother? Just scrub the conflicts and go strait to the happy endings. Something needs to be done to shake up the predictability of these otherwise warm and fuzzy Christmas romance stories.
Ask Tesadüfleri Sever (2011)
Best Love Story Ever.
I am older and have been watching movies for six decades. From start to finish, this movie gripped me emotionally. The range of emotion extended well beyond anything I have ever experienced from a cinematic work. I would not call it "cheesy" or criticize that there were too many coincidences. One way or the other, the storyline reaches down and touches the viewer deeply.
