Judy Justice (2021)
Glad I Started Watching
Long time Judge Judy fan and I didn't see a reason to start watching this as Judge Judy reruns are still on all of the time. But after watching a couple of clips online, I decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did. I like the new format a lot - the cases are less trashy, the editing is better, and Judy seems a lot nicer and happier. I like the debriefings at the end of each case between Judy and Sara. Sometimes I agree with the decisions and sometimes I don't so it's interesting to hear why she ruled a certain way. I do not understand why she has Whitney there. She rarely asks her for help so it seems kind of pointless. Kevin is nice enough. For show purposes, it doesn't matter to me who the bailiff is. I'll be tuning into Judy Justice instead of Judge Judy moving forward. Glad to hear it's receiving a second season.
Ray Romano: Right Here, Around the Corner (2019)
Right Here, Around the Corner
Everybody Loves Raymond is one of my favorite television sitcoms, but I had never seen any of Ray Romano's standup. I thought it was a great special. Nice to see a comedian who is just naturally funny and who doesn't feel the need to push the envelope to get laughs. I enjoyed the second half more than the first, but they both made me laugh out loud.
