Grant Armour is an award winning London based Producer / Director specialising in feature documentaries for television, branded films, commercials and music videos.
Throughout 12 years of making documentaries and creating new formats for television and online, Grant has produced, directed and shot internationally, making films about climate activism, drug use, mental health, boy racers, young offenders, criminals, professional gamers, ancient rituals, wild animals, space tourism, shot the Emmy-nominated series, Gaycation and the theatrically released feature doc, Chemsex.
Documentaries Grant has produced include the award winning, The Homeless Film Director and Ballet & Bullets: Dancing Out of the Favela, part funded by the Pulitzer Centre on Crisis Reporting, Make The World Greta Again profiling climate activist and Time Person of the Year 2019, Greta Thunberg. The same year Grant produced, directed and edited a documentary with Brian Eno on the 50th anniversary of the moon landings for Universal through his own production company 1711 Films.
In 2020, Grant has produced directed documentaries on prison takeovers in Colombia, cartels making fentanyl-laced medication in Mexico, and six-part sustainable travel series, World Without Planes. In 2021, Grant produced, directed and shot a programme on Scotlands cocaine epidemic and the shift from historical heroin use to injecting powdered cocaine.
