CLUTCH
CLUTCH is a high octane true grass-roots independent film (16mm color) which tells the story of a struggling small town muscle car racer who finds out there are no short cuts to victory lane. Shot entirely in the Pacific Northwest with lots of evergreen trees serving as the beautiful backdrop to many of the rural locations. The film's story showcases the truth and integrity of basic humanity while combining the elements of action, romance, comedy, dramatic human emotion and lot's of late 1960's classic American muscle cars. Director/ Writer Jay Rowlands created this modern day story with a retro throwback feel inspired by classic car movies and buddy films of the late 1960's and early 1970's.
