- David, a recently fired scrapyard worker and Marie, a prostitute with-a-dog, both about 20 years old, meet on New Year's Eve in a win-try street in Berlin. She doesn't want to work in a supermarket, he does't want to work in scrap yard. Deciding to rebel against the capitalist system, they hit the road. But soon their cash runs out.
