- A police forensic scientist, Barry Allen, battles crimes as the super-fast superhero "The Flash."

Sandburg becomes Ellison's back-watcher and teacher of how to use his new powers as Ellison brings a whole new edge to the war on crime in Cascade, Washington.

The Flash's powers are now unstable and Tina refuses to help him because she blames him for leaving. He's got to find a way to get back to his own time.
