A contestant on The Price Is Right recently achieved history with his bid during the Showcase segment of the game.
Viewers reacted to a video featuring the contestant’s historic bid, and many indicated that another contestant gave a perfect bid on the show years ago.
However, the more recent highlight happened when a man on stage was one dollar away from the actual price of his Showcase.
It was a moment that caught host Drew Carey by surprise, seeming to leave him momentarily speechless as he reacted to what he saw.
However, Drew later called it “the best Showcase bid in the history of the show.”

A Canada man set another milestone on The Price is Right Friday by almost guessing the exact total of the day’s showcase.
During the taped episode of the CBS game show, Patrice Masse from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada bid $39,500 for a prize package valued at $39,501. His near-perfect guess made him a double showcase winner, earning him a grand total of $83,068 in prizes.
A stupefied Drew Carey dubbed it “the best showcase bid in the history of the show, in my opinion.” The host also reminded viewers that Masse had “absolutely no help from anybody in the audience.”
Any contestant whose bid comes within $250 of the total automatically wins both showcases. Items in Masse’ winnings include a brand new Kia K5 Gt-Line, luxury trips to Milan, Italy, Hawaii, and Miami, and designer apparel from Versace, Gucci and Coach.
In 2008, a contestant named Terry Kneiss won the double showcase by making a perfect bid of $23,743 dollars.

A contestant on Wednesday’s (June 5) episode of The Price Is Right at Night almost missed out on a brand-new car until Drew Carey stepped in to help. The contestant in question was Shammira, who was brought up to the main stage on Wednesday’s episode to take on the Master Key game, which gives a player a chance to win a luxury car and two other prizes. For those unfamiliar with Master Key, it works like this: the contestant is shown two small prizes, each with a three-digit number displayed. The contestant must then decide whether the first two digits or the last two digits are the correct prices. A correct answer wins the prize and a choice of one of five keys. Of the five keys, three unlock prizes, one unlocks nothing, and one is the Master Key that unlocks everything. Shammira had a chance to earn two...

Jeopardy! fans are eager to see host Ken Jennings show his skills on Dancing with the Stars.
As DWTS Season 33 approaches, various cast rumors are swirling about which dancers and celebrities will appear.
Jennings initially appeared on Jeopardy! as one of the most successful contestants before becoming one of the show’s hosts several years ago.
He’s since gone on to fill the famous shoes of the late Alex Trebek, receiving an Emmy nomination for his work.
However, trying his dancing skills on the ballroom floor might require him to step out of his comfort zone and put on shoes he’s not used to. It’s something fellow game show host Drew Carey from The Price Is Right has done.
Jennings recently addressed whether he would appear on DWTS and Jeopardy! fans seem to support his joining the cast.

A recent The Price Is Right contestant returned to the show 42 years after her previous appearance.
Not only did she return to the audience, but she also surprisingly returned to Contestant’s Row and then to the stage for a pricing game.
Host Drew Carey mentioned that the contestant, Delores, wore a t-shirt that mentioned she appeared on the show in 1982. That meant she likely met the legendary Bob Barker, who was hosting then.
Fast forward to her 2024 appearance, and Drew asked if she’d won anything during that previous time on The Price Is Right.
“I won like a life supply of peanut butter or something like that,” she said, adding, “I didn’t win the car.”
“Really? You still working your way through it?” Drew asked, with Delores replying that she gave most of it to people in Pasadena.

In one instance, a boy indicated that the show helps bring his family together, as they record the daytime episodes and watch them each evening.
Another contestant really seemed to catch Drew off guard, with the host even suggesting the show was “in trouble.”

A recent contestant on The Price Is Right made history. On Monday night’s episode, Donald got up on stage with Drew Carey to face the game of “Temptation.” No one has won the game in three years, so he was clearly dismayed at his luck. However, what happened next shocked viewers at home. Keep reading to see how Donald faired on The Price Is Right.
The History Of ‘Temptation’ On The Price Is Right
“Temptation” is undoubtedly one of the toughest games to win on The Price Is Right. Since Drew Carey started hosting the game show in 2007, only five contestants have won “Temptation.”
In this game, the contestant is shown the first number in the price of a car. Once they are shown that number, they are tempted with four “gifts.” The price for each prize is displayed and one of the digits in those prices is the...

The Price Is Right host Drew Carey became “Uncle Drew” and watched a contestant fall to the floor during a recent on-stage moment.
The popular game show often has some sweet prizes for contestants, including trips, cash, and cars.
Sometimes, those prizes can bring a lot of excitement, and contestants are overwhelmed with emotions.
Fortunately, the woman who fell on stage was completely fine, and Carey didn’t need to resuscitate her after her excited reaction.
Carey, 65, has seen plenty of surprising and exciting moments as the show’s host since 2007.
That included an impressive Showcase Showdown feat, where a contestant could take home a nice collection of prizes.
More recently, he experienced another unique interaction with a contestant and some excitement during her time on stage.

One lucky contestant avoided temptation on Monday’s (May 20) edition of The Price Is Right at Night on CBS, winning himself a brand-new car and making history in the process. The contestant in question was Donald, who made it up to the stage to face the tricky “Temptation,” one of the long-running game show’s hardest games to win. For context, until Monday night, no one had won this game for three years. And there had only been only five winners since Drew Carey started hosting the show in 2007. For those unfamiliar with how “Temptation” works, the contestant is shown the first digit in the price of a car. They are then tempted with four prizes (referred to as “gifts”) — each prize’s price or total cash amount is displayed, with one of the digits being the next digit in the price of the car. The contestant must then guess...

A contestant on The Price Is Right seemed rather disappointed after a decision during one of the game show’s pricing contests.
However, one of the show’s models was there to comfort him and remind him that everything was still Ok for him after his Price Is Right luck.
The contestant, from Michigan, joined host Drew Carey on stage after giving the closest bid for a product during his time at Contestant’s Row.
He then participated in the game Spelling Bee, which features a beehive-themed gameboard with numbers up to 30 and prizes of cash or a car.
The contestant has to estimate the prices of products within $10 to choose numbers from the board.
Each number has the letter “C,” “A,” or “R” behind it, or possibly the word “Car.”
Spelling Bee also has an interesting twist, similar to something one might see on Let’s Make a Deal.

Omg, it's finally happened.
Adam Sandler fans are getting a Happy Gilmore 2, nearly 30 years in the making.
The sequel of the 1996 hit comedy is a dual project between Netflix and Happy Madison Productions, Sandler's company.
Sandler hooked a generation of viewers with his crass, blue-collar character infiltrating one of the most white-collar sports.
With his anger management issues and working-class mannerisms, we felt like he was one of us. And we couldn't help but root for him to win.
Happy Gilmore couldn't cut it as a hockey player, but it turned out he was hellah good at golf -- with a custom hockey stick golf club.
And fans loved him, turning golf into a spectator sport that drew all the wrong crowds.
At least, that's how Shooter McGavin -- played by Christopher McDonald -- felt. He tried so hard to earn that gold jacket, only to lose it to a scuzzy amateur golfer wannabe.

The Price is Right host Drew Carey tried his best to help on Friday’s (May 10) episode after a contestant couldn’t get to grips with the Big Wheel during the Showcase Showdown. As reported by The Sun U.S., a contestant named Elvira set an unfortunate record as she took multiple attempts to spin the wheel correctly, but repeatedly failed. Elvira started by lightly spinning the wheel, which landed on the number 65. While this would have been a solid score, Carey said it didn’t count because the wheel has to make at least one full rotation. “The wheel has to go around at least once,” the long-time host said as Elvira spun again. However, once again, the wheel didn’t go all the way around; in fact, it finished turning even sooner than the first time, landing on 45. “Here, let me help you out,” Carey said, taking the wheel.

The Price is Right viewers weren’t amused during Tuesday night’s (May 7) episode after one contestant wasted his opportunity on a “stupid” joke bid. As reported by The U.S. Sun, Tuesday’s episode saw a contestant named Nicholas called down from the audience to try his luck at winning some big prizes. However, Nicholas ended up shocking viewers and host Drew Carey with an outlandish bid. He and three others had to guess the price of a set of workout equipment, which included a spin bike and a vertical knee-raise station. As per the usual Price is Right rules, the winner was the bid closest to the real price without going over. Nicholas was asked to make his bid first, to which he said, “I’m gonna say $1 million.” The usually noisy studio audience fell silent as Carey looked baffled. “Seriously?” the host asked. “Yeah, it looks like some nice equipment,...
