The 80s did produce a lot of actors didn’t it? Eric Bruskotter is someone that a lot of people should hopefully recall since he got his start in 1985 and has actually been around ever since. He’s made an appearance in a lot of different places, one of the most notable being in Starship Troopers as the hapless trooper that thinks he can take on Drill Instructor Zim and finds out rather quickly that he’s not as tough as he thinks. A broken arm later and his will wasn’t broken but it was certainly tempered. Unfortunately that character never made

Fox’s hit dramedy Glee returns tomorrow after its long winter hiatus.
After combing through the archives, I’ve chosen the 10 best covers throughout the show’s four-season run.
One of Glee’s best attributes is its ability to put a story with a song, giving it more power than a radio can. If a song gets the appropriate arrangement, a compelling back story and powerful pipes, the combination can be overwhelming and memorable.
Take a look — and a listen — to the top 10 best Glee songs ever. Consider this your essential Glee playlist:
10. Flo Rida’s “Whistle” (as performed in season four, episode eight: “Thanksgiving”)
The most recent song on the list, “Whistle” shows us that The Dalton Academy Warblers can exist without the beloved Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) at the helm. This rendition of Flo Rida’s overtly sexual ditty at Sectionals appropriately displays...

The greatest pitfall television series featuring high school cast members has is that the cast is already older when the series begins and they age out rapidly. Smallville stopped setting stories in the high school because the cast looked ridiculous on the sets. Confronting the inevitable graduation challenges the producers to find tortured ways to keep the cast intact after the caps and gowns are put away. Even Buffy the Vampire Slayer suffered from this challenge so it is refreshing to see Glee take graduation head on in the third season of the Fox series.
Glee the Complete Third Season came out on DVD last week and seeing it without the weeks-long breaks between cycles, allows you to see how they handled the coming graduation and choices the teens are being asked to make. While the series has never really focused on the kids’ academics, there was almost zero interest in ACTs or college visits,...

A love interest recently entered the life of Shannon Beiste (Dot-Maries Jones) on "Glee," and the actress says more romance is in store for the show's big-hearted football coach.
"Oh my God, there's stuff coming up in episode 10 -- I could die," Dot-Marie told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover of her character's storyline on Wednesday's Access Hollywood Live. "Wow. First, I never thought in my life I'd be singing on television!"
The actress, whose character is falling for football recruiter Cooter Menkins (played by Eric Bruskotter), said the pair's onscreen romance will soon be going strong, but ...

So, if you care, you may have noticed there are no reviews for episodes two through four of this season. See, I wasn’t raised with the maxim “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” I was, however, taught that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. Simply put, the last three episodes disappointed me so much that I just couldn’t write about them. The best I would’ve been able to say is that there were occasionally some cute moments, a few slight advances of character sub-plots and damn, that Dianna Agron sure is pretty, isn’t she?
For the most part, the past few hours have been stupid, bordering on offensive when not just-this-side of boring. The worst offenses? Quinn’s subplot this season is that she’s trying to get her daughter back from Shelby.

A pre-recap disclaimer: I loved "The First Time." I thought it was stunningly shot, as well as brilliantly written and acted. I thought the editing was genius, and its message was affirming of all the big, messy, crazy, gorgeous, sexy, confusing beautifulness of being young and on the brink of your future.
If you hated it, if you were coming here hoping for a lot of snark, this is not the recap you are looking for. I will try to be more cynical next week. I promise.
Also: If first love really could be like this, I'd happily climb into that time machine Blaine's building and go back and be young again.
We open with Artie rolling down the hallway, thinking it doesn't matter if you're "in prison like Gandhi, or stuck inside a woman's body like Chaz Bono, or in a wheelchair like me," when you find your calling,...

Gleeks you Must tune in for next week’s episode of Glee, called “The First Time.” It’s without a doubt one of Glee’s best installments ever and features two popular couples on the show having sex for the first time.
Spoiler Alert! Stop Reading If You Don’T Want To Hear Details! The couples losing their virginity? Finn and Rachel and…Kurt and Blaine! Yep, the couple — who was featured on the cover of EW’s Gay Teens on TV issue – finally decide to take the next step in their relationship. It’s all handled very delicately and is incredibly moving.

Glee rebounds mightily from Tuesday’s subpar “Pot O’ Gold’ episode with next week’s stellar sexual rite of passage-themed “First Time,” which finds two of the show’s supercouples — Rachel and Finn, and Kurt and Blaine — going all the way. But the standout episode isn’t all about getting it on. It’s also about…
1. Talking about getting it on. During a West Side Story rehearsal, director Artie tells Rachel and Blaine that they lack passion as Maria and Tony, then guesses that maybe they’ve never, you know, done it. “How do you expect to convey the human...

Love and controversy will soon be in the air on Glee.
As previously announced, Eric Bruskotter is coming on board the Fox hit this season as a football recruiter who falls for Coach Beiste. But there will evidently be a major snag in their relationship:
“In Episode 7, we find out that Bieste’s new man is Sue’s booty call,” a show insider tells TV Line. “The two ladies end up fighting for him. Not sure yet who wins..."
Well, if the battle is purely based on brawn, Beiste should take it. But if snark becomes a factor? Look out for Sue. Hurry up and choose your sides, Gleeks. The love lines are about to be drawn!

A new romantic tug-of-war is brewing on Glee that threatens to reawaken a bitter rivalry between two of McKinley High’s most formidable divas.
Which divas you ask?
Hint No. 1: It’s not Rachel and Quinn. Hint No. 2: It is… Beiste and Sue!
Glee Spoiler Alert: Who’s Quitting New Directions Next?
And the man in the middle of love kerfuffle? Why, it’s none other than the new football recruiter played by Eric Bruskotter.
Although Bruskotter’s character, Johnny, was brought in to cast a spell over Dot-Marie Jones’ lovelorn Bieste, sources now confirm exclusively to TVLine...

Glee Casts Recruiter for Coach
There’s nothing quite like meeting the man of your dreams, even when you’re someone as rough and tough as football coach Beiste on Fox’s Glee. Like most semi-villainous characters (and that’s a stretch in this case), there’s a soft side underneath that likely could just use a little romantic attention. You and I may not ever find her aesthetically pleasing in that special kind of way, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t someone out there just for Beiste. Now, who exactly could that person be?
According to TVLine, our man for Beiste is named Johnny and he’s a football recruiter (oh well that’s just perfect). Playing Johnny will be Eric Bruskotter, who you may have seen on 24, Franklin & Bash or Six Feet Under. His role will be pretty major, and his status is recurring, so this...

Move over, Brittana. There's another hot couple coming to Glee.
TV Line confirms that Eric Bruskotter has landed the recurring role of Johnny, a football recruiter who comes to William McKinley this fall... and falls for everyone's favorite disgusting creamy pasta-eating punkin, Coach Beiste.
Bruskotter has guest-starred on a number of shows, mostly recently Law & Order: Los Angeles and Frankin & Bash. He has a thing for ampersands, along with hilarious, sweet, large-bodied woman, apparently.
What do you think of Coach Beiste getting a boyfriend, Gleeks? Awesome? Or totally and completely awesome?!?...

Nope, she’s not ramping up her carb-loading, and as far as we know, she’s not pregnant.
