Simone Biles is putting her Dancing With the Stars skills to good use!
The Olympic gymnast, who competed on season 24 of the dance competition show, performed as the first-ever honorary member of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders during the game against the San Francisco 49ers at Nrg Stadium in Houston, Texas, on Sunday.
The 20-year-old athlete fit in perfectly, rooting for the NFL team in the cheerleaders' signature uniform: navy blue cheer shorts, a cropped Texans top, metallic pom poms and the legendary red Houston Texans boots, which she received last week.

"Simone, as our first honorary Houston Texans cheerleader, we would like to present you with some legendary red boots," one of the veteran dancers exclaimed in a video, as Biles accepted them with a giant grin.
Biles appeared to have no problem with the choreography, hitting each and every move like she had been cheering with the squad all season.

Fats Domino, the amiable rock 'n' roll pioneer whose steady, pounding piano and easy baritone helped change popular music while honoring the traditions of the Crescent City died Tuesday at the age of 89, the Jefferson Parish Coroner says.
The New Orleans musician's daughter said he died peacefully while surrounded by family and friends, CBS affiliate Wwl-tv reports.
In appearance, he was no Elvis Presley. He stood 5-feet-5 and weighed more than 200 pounds, with a wide, boyish smile and a haircut as flat as an album cover. But Domino sold more than 110 million records, with hits including "Blueberry Hill," ''Ain't It a Shame" and other standards of rock 'n' roll.

Though Rainn Wilson might be most well known for his role as Dwight on The Office, the actor is now branching into a totally different genre with the upcoming Star Trek: Discovery. If he has his way though, he won’t stop there, as he’s now voiced an interest in joining the Dceu. Specifically, he’d love to play an older version of Lex Luthor.
Now, as we all know, the supervillain is already part of the DC Extended Universe and last appeared in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, where he was portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg. However, given that his name is Alexander Luthor Jr. in the film, fans have long theorized that we might be seeing his dad at some point, and that’s where Wilson could possibly come in.

Arrow Season 5 was a return to form for the long-running DC superhero series on The CW. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) finally embraced his role as leader, completing a five year transition from murderous vigilante to heroic superhero Green Arrow. A big reason for the show's resurgence last season was the re-establishment of a grounded, gritty, street-level storyline that pitted Queen against Prometheus (Josh Segarra), a fighter of comparable skill who was constantly one step ahead of Team Arrow.
By abandoning the failed magic and mysticism aspects of Seasons 3 and 4, Arrow focused on hard-hitting, often incredibly brutal hand-to-hand fighting last season, which is a hallmark of this show. Seriously, outside of Netflix's Daredevil, is there any better fight choreography on TV? So what can we expect out of Arrow Season 6? We already know that the big bad will be Richard Dragon, an absolutely vicious martial artist with deep roots in the DC comics canon.

“Nothing is answered. Everything is answered. And then it ends.”
That’s the official synopsis for The Leftovers series finale (“The Book of Nora”) -- and it’s quite accurate to what played out in the show’s final chapter on Sunday evening.
Launched with a mystery -- the sudden departure of two percent of the world’s population -- The Leftovers always had one big question looming over the entire series: Where did those people go? But from the very beginning, co-creator Damon Lindelof said the point of the series was not to answer that question. The Leftovers was always about those left behind and how they moved forward with their lives.

If you haven’t taken advantage of all that Hulu has to offer lately besides “The Handmaid’s Tale” – which everybody should really, really watch right now – then you’re missing out.
“The Handmaid’s Tale’ has been a groundbreaking series for the streaming service, thanks to its foreboding story about a near future in which a portion of the United States has been turned into a theocracy. This new world of Gilead subjugates women and makes the fertile ones become breeders for high-ranking officials. Moving performances by Elisabeth Moss, Samira Wiley, Yvonne Strahovski, O-t Fagbenle and Alexis Bledel have made this series a must-watch.
Not only does Hulu have strong original programming like “The Handmaid’s Tale,” but it is one of the best places to watch shows that are currently on TV now, which makes cord-cutting that much easier. It also has an impressive catalog of past shows that are well worth revisiting.

Upfronts trailers are always tricky things. Movie previews have a hard enough time selling a 90-minute movie in two minutes. Convincing people to get excited about an entire season of television is another.
As ABC’s fall lineup hinted at earlier today, it’s a male-heavy new slate of shows, but there’s always more below the surface. We’ve gathered our thoughts on these nine new sneak peeks and ranked them for your perusal.
“Ten Days in the Valley”
Kyra Sedgwick plays Jane, a single mom who’s woken in the middle of the night for an urgent script rewrite, and when she comes back to bed…her daughter…is gone! While the implication that moms will be punished for working hard isn’t ideal, we were ready to forgive anything for the great Kyra Sedgwick. But then, well, the tagline flashed across the screen: “What happens when fiction becomes all too real?...

If Discovery’s “Deadliest Catch” is in trouble, it’s climate change – not ratings – that may hasten the show’s demise.
Over the last year, temperatures rose about four degrees in the Bering Sea, which is 50 times the global average. As filming began for the 13th season of “Deadliest Catch,” which premieres Tuesday night, the show’s fishermen had to contend with a serious problem: With warming waters, the crabs have moved elsewhere.
“The first thing that you need in order to film a show about crab fishing are the crabs,” said executive producer R. Decker Watson, Jr. “If the crabs don’t show up, then we’re all out of business.”
The Alaska Department of Fish and Game sets an annual quota system on crab fishing, depending on a survey they take in the spring and summer. This past year, they found that half the crab was missing, and...

Let’s go back in time to when Pitt had a thing for blondes—and Pringles.

A look-back at the previous attempts to bring Archie to TV before they got it right with Riverdale...
When Riverdale premieres on the CW on January 26th, it will mark a milestone for Archie Comics - the first time in the company's 75-year history that its characters will truly shine on television. A mix of gleefully ridiculous kitsch with standout performances and some truly smart writing, the series is poised to be 2017's breakout TV hit.
See related Shane Black: a career retrospective Zack Snyder interview: Batman V Superman
That said, it took a while for Archie to get to this point. There have been many attempts to bring Archie and his friends to TV before, but these all suffered for either being shoddily animated (the various 1960s cartoons), misguided (1990's Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again), or just plain, um, weird (the X-Files cash-in Archie's Weird Mysteries...

Despite Zsa Zsa Gabor's film career, it was her personal life that definitely kept her in the spotlight.
The Hungarian beauty not only remained in the public's eye with her off-camera feistiness, but also thanks to her legendary love life, which included nine marriages.

Long before the Kardashians captured the public's imagination, three sisters from Hungary established that you can become famous just for being famous, with only a dash of acting ability and a whole lot of personality. And with her mellifluous moniker, glittering glamour, multiple marriages and bawdy bon mots, Gabor fully embodied and embraced the role of Hollywood royalty.
All the "daahlings," décolletage and drama were carefully calculated, creating both an air of majesty and mystery that made Gabor irresistible to men, women and the gossip pages, catapulting her past sisters Magda and Eva to a level of fame that allowed her to draw headlines into her 90s.
"I'm a very serious person," Gabor said in a The New Yorker profile decades ago. "I couldn't have built up this idiotic image of myself all these years if I hadn't been serious." Born in Hungary in 1917 as Sari Gabor (although she went out of her way to obfuscate her age...
