Lots of celebrities love animals. Some show this love by having multiple pets, rescuing animals, helping shelter pets, or advocating for protecting endangered species. For a period of time, Audrey Hepburn had a baby deer to help make filming the movie Green Mansions more believable.

The film Green Mansions was released in 1959. Audrey Hepburn and Anthony Perkins starred in the movie, and it was directed by Hepburn’s husband at the time, Mel Ferrer.
In the movie, Hepburn plays a character named Rima who lives in a jungle. This role required Hepburn to appear natural when interacting with different wildlife. According to AnOther Magazine, this led to Hepburn having a pet fawn named Pippin for a time.

Filmmaker Luca Guadagnino is adding another project to his busy slate that includes the upcoming “Bones and All,” a “Lord of the Flies” adaptation, a new twist on “Scarface,” and an untitled Scotty Bowers project written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. My fascination with Audrey Hepburn began in my late childhood. Although I was intrigued by the lithe beauty I had seen in My Fair Lady (a staple in my household growing up) I had never approved of the way that man yelled at her. But one day I went to the video rental store and saw her decked in bright diamonds, holding the longest cigarette holder I had ever seen. No one better yell at her in this one, I hoped. After watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s I devoured Hepburn’s filmography quickly. I couldn’t explain what was this strange hold she had on me, but it remains, to the point where I have a tattoo of her as Holly Golightly on my left upper arm.

Unlike many of the leading lights from the Golden Age of Hollywood, Audrey Hepburn’s star shines as brightly now as it did during her heyday in the 1950s and 60s. Not only did she win an Oscar at 24 for her first major Hollywood movie, 1953’s “Roman Holiday,” she was also nominated for 1954’s “Sabrina,” 1959’s “The Nun’s Story,” 1961’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and 1967’s “Wait Until Dark.” The lithe, lanky Hepburn, who died in 1993 at the age of 63, was also a fashion icon and muse of Givenchy. She was a beloved humanitarian, who was a Goodwill Ambassador to Unicef and traveled tirelessly worldwide to call attention to the organization’s lifesaving programs.

Despite her status as one of the most iconic movie stars in history, one can’t help but root for the girl at the center of Audrey, who dreams of nothing more than to find peace and love. The girl is, of course, Audrey Hepburn, a movie star from a time when pictures were made around personas, and a change of hairstyle could easily turn into a global phenomenon. Hepburn’s name conjures visions of diamonds, sophistication, and effortless grace. Perhaps even the girl who had it all if we want to navigate in tropes, but what Helena Coan’s documentary achieves is that it doesn’t need sensationalism or shock to make us recognize ourselves in a figure who was truly larger than life. On the screen perhaps.
With a height of 5’7 and weighing a little over 100 lbs. Hepburn’s waifish look defied what Hollywood considered the ideal female heroine.

Some heartfelt moments aside, this documentary is an exasperating, Hello-style hagiography that pays too little attention to Hepburn’s film work
There are some heartfelt moments in this documentary portrait of Audrey Hepburn, with touching contributions from her son Sean Hepburn Ferrer, and granddaughter Emma Ferrer – as well as spirited comments from critic Molly Haskell as well as Peter Bogdanovich, who directed Hepburn in his ill-fated 1981 movie They All Laughed. But by and large, it’s an exasperating, simpering, Hello-magazine-interview of a film, blandly celebrating her “iconic” presence in the horribly overrated Breakfast at Tiffany’s, in which she was absurdly unrelaxed and self-conscious.
The film gives due weight to the unaffected loveliness and charm of her first leading role, in Roman Holiday. But amid the waffle, her very good performances in Stanley Donen’s Two For the Road and Richard Lester’s Robin and Marian are just ignored. The...

Her delicate beauty and starring roles made her seem fragile. But having endured an unloving mother and a perilous childhood under Nazi occupation, such an impression belied Hepburn’s remarkable strength, compassion and resolve
“Very alert, very smart, very talented, very ambitious.” That was the director William Wyler’s verdict after watching a screen test for Roman Holiday by a young chorus girl called Audrey Hepburn in 1951. She got the part, won an Oscar and the rest is history. For decades, Hepburn has been adored for her graceful beauty and style. But somehow, the “smart”, “talented” and “ambitious” woman Wyler described never makes it into the books about her enduring charm with titles such as How to Be Lovely: The Audrey Hepburn Way. Now a new documentary, Audrey, gives us a more complex picture of the woman.

The lawsuit is in some ways a mirror image of the one filed by the charity in February.

Sean Ferrer, Hepburn's son with actor and director Mel Ferrer, has pledged to hand over the money raised at the auction in Berlin, Germany on Saturday to "children in need".
Two-thirds of the sum will go to the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund, and one-third to Unicef Germany. Hepburn was an ambassador for Unicef from 1988 until she died from colon cancer in 1993.
Ferrer tells the Associated Press, "I feel wonderful about the fact that something that belonged to her today can bring focus on children in need all over the world. My mother always told me, 'I didn't make a perfume or go sell toilet paper. I did something good with my name.'"
Fourteen million of the stamps were printed in Germany in 2001, but almost all were destroyed when Ferrer refused to grant copyright.

Anyway, at the mention of Aamir Khan, my Rapchik Rajni claims to have some khabar about him from Berlin. Yeah, the actor was there for a charity dinner over the weekend, where jaane-maane celebrities from Hollywood too were present. But I’m told that apna Aamir bonded most with Kiera Chaplin (Charlie Chaplin’s grand-daughter and a well-known Irish actress) and Sean Hepburn Ferrer (Audrey Hepburn’s son). I’m also informed that Sean had organised a charity screening of Taare Zameen Par for dyslexic children a couple of years ago, so it was a renunion of sorts for him and Khan. That’s not all. ...

A rare stamp bearing the image of Audrey Hepburn smoking has gone under the hammer for an astounding $93,800 (£62,530) at an auction in Germany.
The stamp is one of only five in existence, after the tragic movie icon's son, Sean Ferrer, ordered the entire print run to be destroyed in 2001 following its commission by the German government.
Ferrer objected to the photo of his late mother being used for the stamp and refused to grant copyright because it showed her with a cigarette holder dangling from her lips.
All but a handful were salvaged from destruction - and one stamp fetched more than double its reserve bid of $41,959 (£27,972) when it went on sale on Tuesday. The buyer's identity remains anonymous.
The Breakfast at Tiffany's star lost her battle with colon cancer in 1993 at the age of 64.

Screen legend Audrey Hepburn's sons have demanded a museum return their mother's belongings to them - because the venue is turning into a tourist circus. The Breakfast At Tiffany's beauty, who died from colon cancer at age 63, lived near the Swiss village of Tolochenaz and when she died in 1993 her sons gave the local non-profit making museum priceless items from her private collection. Now both sons Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti believe the tribute has been taken too far and have demanded back the items they donated. Ferrer says, "This is my mother's resting place, not Graceland. We have completed our commitment but when we wanted the objects back, people went crazy." However, all the money donated to the museum is filtered back to Hepburn's favorite charities. Museum director Franca Price says, "As difficult as it will be to see Audrey's things disappear, we don't want to start a war. Maybe we should just let her rest in peace."...
