Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are husband and wife, and despite being married since 2022, the couple still used an intimacy coordinator on the set of the series A Gentleman in Moscow.
McGregor revealed in a recent interview why having an intimacy coordinator on the set was important while filming sex scenes for the series.
“It’s still necessary, because it’s also about the crew, and it’s odd to be naked in front of people, it’s odd to be intimate in front of the camera,” McGregor told Radio Times. “If you were doing a dance scene, you’d have a choreographer. It’s an important part of the work now, because it’s somebody that the director and actors meet in the middle.”
The actor also noted the importance of intimacy coordinators, especially now that his daughters Esther and Clara are also actors.

Told in real time like Cortés' acclaimed Buried, the film is a romantic tale of love and survival in the face of harrowing circumstances. "He has lied to you, and he has used you, when are you going to accept that?" MGM+ has debuted the full official trailer for the British spy series titled A Spy Among Friends, arriving for streaming in March. The service formerly known as Epix has re-branded as MGM+, with a big line-up set to launch this spring. "The epic true story of Kim Philby, the Cold War's most infamous spy, from the 'master storyteller' and author of Prisoners of the Castle." It's an adaptation of the book of the same name. The UK mini-series stars the very talented actors Guy Pearce and Damian Lewis as Nicholas Elliott and Kim Philby, real-life 1960s British spies who, despite their opposing allegiances, developed a life-long friendship. It reminds me of the other British spy film The Courier (aka Ironbark) from a few years ago - also about two spies who were friends.

Billie Piper has been on quite a journey. From teenage popstar (and my first crush) through the tabloid obsession with her marriages to Chris Evans and – shudder – Laurence Fox, to her position, now, as one of Britain’s finest actors. I Hate Suzie – created by Piper along with Diary of a Call Girl collaborator, and Succession writer, Lucy Prebble – was a tremendous showcase for Piper’s ability, and it returns now for a short second season: I Hate Suzie Too. Get ready to be traumatised all over again.
Having hit rock bottom by the end of the first season, Suzie is now making a home for herself amid the pebbly detritus of her life as was. Her big comeback opportunity – personally as well as professionally – is a sub-Strictly reality TV show called DanceCrazee. But behind the make-up and glitter, leotards and legwarmers, Suzie is hanging by a thread. “How do you feel?...

UK crime drama The Missing ran for two seasons in 2014 and 2016 on BBC One, where it was a hit by anybody’s standards. The logical next step would have been a third and possibly fourth, fifth and sixth season, but none arrived. Instead, the show’s creators Harry and Jack Williams changed direction and created two seasons of a spin-off starring The Missing’s lead detective Julien Baptiste. With the British thriller now finding new fans internationally on Netflix, many are asking why season three of The Missing was never made.
The reason for the Williams Bros.’ switch to a spin-off was built into the original show’s premise. Seasons one and two of The Missing focused on failures in the long career of Det. Baptiste (Tchéky Karyo). The first was the disappearance of five-year-old Oliver Hughes, an English boy holidaying with his parents in a French town. The second...

Ten-year-old Leah (Kiera Thompson) is caught watching her family like an outsider looking in. Her much older sister (Hannah Rae’s Bex) is about to leave for college and the milestone has seemingly thrown a wrench into their otherwise simple lives. While their father Thomas (Steven Cree) treats it like a celebration, thanks to his faith as the pastor of their local church, their mother Sarah (Denise Gough) appears distracted and perhaps even angry. She begins having nightmares, retreats from others, and becomes lost in a past Leah knows nothing about. Whether coincidence or fate drives the young girl to unearth the answer from within the locket Sarah wears around her neck is up to you to decide. Once it’s out, however, there’s no putting it back.

Warning: contains The Missing series 1 & 2 and Baptiste spoilers.
We first met French detective Julien Baptiste in 2006 (for him) and 2014 (for us). A key thing to know about The Missing’s breakout star is that his investigations take place over multiple timelines – not in a complicated sci-fi way, but in a ‘jazzing up a crime drama’ way. If you ever miss a caption telling you what year it is, it’s usually possible to guess based on Baptiste’s hair. As a rule, smoothly combed = the past, charmingly unkempt = now, shaved head = receiving treatment for a brain tumour/uncovering a Gulf War scandal in a disputed region of North Iraq.
We’re getting ahead of ourselves. In 2006, Tchéky Karyo’s French detective was one month away from an idyllic countryside retirement spent beekeeping with his English wife Celia (Anastasia Hille). Crime though, had other ideas. Specifically, one idea: kidnapping children, the...

Call The Midwife and Robin Hood star Jessica Raine is to star in BBC One’s spin-off of detective drama The Missing.
Raine is to play Genevieve in Baptiste, which sees Turkish-born French actor Tchéky Karyo play the eponymous investigator. Tom Hollander also stars, as Edward.
Filming will take place in Antwerp, Ghent, Amsterdam and Deal in Kent.
Baptiste is produced by Harry and Jack Williams’ All3Media-backed production company Two Brothers Pictures. The Missing aired on U.S network Starz, although there is no word yet whether it will take the spin-off.
The spin-off follows Baptiste and his wife on a visit to Amsterdam, when the Chief of Police, who happens to be an ex-girlfriend, seeks out his help on a case that takes him from the beautiful streets, canals and houses of Amsterdam to the seamy underworld beneath.
Karyo, Hollander and Raine are joined by a cast including...

As the revelations finally start to pour in, The Missing’s penultimate episode is equal parts satisfying and sickening…
This review contains spoilers.
See related Shane Black: a career retrospective Zack Snyder interview: Batman V Superman
2.7 1991
Sophie Giroux to take her revenge against Adam Gettrick. The real Alice Webster to be reunited with her family (and it all to go swimmingly this time). Daniel Reed to have survived his wounds and learn that his father was a good man who didn’t kill himself. Julien to return home with Celia and have that potentially life-saving operation. The Websters to move back to England and live happily ever after. Jorn Lennart to magically come back to life and live out his days composing pretty guitar lullabies for Eve and her half-David Morrissey baby.
That’s my wish-list for next week’s finale. Granted, it may tip...
