General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will uncover a bombshell, which will prompt an honest discussion with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). One thing that comes to mind immediately is Drew and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) sexy secret being exposed!
General Hospital Spoilers – There Could Be Several Things This Could Be
It’s possible that Michael will open up about the Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) situation, although his feelings on the matter are already crystal clear.
He’s not pleased with Sonny’s recent behavior, recognizing the possible repercussions if things escalate and his father faces legal trouble.
However, upcoming spoilers suggest that Michael’s honesty towards Drew may lead to a different outcome altogether; another scenario might be a discussion about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) Drew’s twin.
Drew seems to have a sense of rivalry with his twin, especially where Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is concerned.

Settle in, Mother Scratchers! We’re going back to the salad days of Joel and Ethan Coen‘s fabled partnership for the duo’s unconventional comedy about an unlikely courtship, unwanted house guests, a cigar-chomping pale rider, the best deals on furniture in the Southwestern portion of the United States, and baby stealing! Slap your ass, and don’t forget the Huggies because we’re revisiting the Coen Brothers’ 1987 crime comedy Raising Arizona.
The dynamic duo of Joel and Ethan Coen made the Hollywood scene in 1984 with the neo-noir crime drama Blood Simple. Featuring John Getz, Francis McDormand, and Dan Hedaya, Blood Simple helped define the brothers as a creative team to watch, with critics taking a shine to the thriller’s harsh Texas setting, twisting plot, and hypnotic characters. A League of Their Own is a pretty darn perfect movie. The Penny Marshall-directed film from 1992, about the women recruited to play professional baseball while so many men were off fighting World War II, is a crackerjack sports movie, a winning ensemble comedy, and a well-hit drama about female empowerment in an era when the concept seemed utterly foreign. It’s got all-star performances by Geena Davis, Tom Hanks (it’s the role that kicked off his Hall of Fame run in the Nineties), Madonna (never better as an actor), and more.

Sam McMurray is someone that a lot of people can probably recognize since they’ve seen him numerous times over the years. He’s been in so many movies and TV shows that it’s hard not to think that he’s been in just about anything and everything a person has ever seen. That’s a huge exaggeration of course, but it’s still funny to think about since the guy has been one of those that has the right look and attitude for the same type of role in so many projects that it’s not hard at all to think of why he’s been

If I’ve learned anything as a Christmas-movie historian, it’s that it’s very easy to get Santa Claus origin stories wrong. Lean too hard into the explanations, and you strip away the wonder. Focus too much on whether or not people should believe in Santa, and you paint yourself into a quasi-theological corner.
The animated “Klaus” — opening in theaters before its upcoming Netflix debut — skillfully avoids both of these traps, crafting a how-it-all-began saga with storybook visuals and genuine bursts of real feeling. It’s far more successful with holiday magic than it is with character-based comedy, but that’s not enough of a flaw to keep young audiences (and their parents) from potentially turning this feature into a cherished annual tradition.

Amazon is developing a series based on the film “A League of Their Own.”
Hailing from writers Will Graham (“Mozart in the Jungle”) and Abbi Jacobson (“Broad City”), the half-hour comedy is said to be not a close adaptation of the Penny Marshall movie starring Tom Hanks and Geena Davis, but rather a modern take on the story. It is not expected to feature characters from the original, but will follow a new version of the Rockford Peaches during the first season of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League in 1943.
No deals are yet closed for the potential series, which would be produced by Sony Pictures Television, but a mini-writers room is believed to be in place, ready to work on scripts. Representatives for Amazon and Sony declined to comment.

The Simpsons made their earliest appearances on The Tracy Ullman Show more than 30 years ago.
Ah, The Simpsons. Is there nothing they haven’t taught us?
Before their April 19, 1987 debut appearance on Fox's The Tracey Ullman Show, the good people at the Oxford Dictionaries couldn’t spell the word cromulent. The Simpsons are an edumacation. Their first skits were consciousness-embiggening minute-long bits. The show taught us that the mind didn’t matter. And The Simpsons, which was spun off as its own series on Dec. 17, 1989, has been turning grey matter into yellow matter custard ever since.
The very first spot was called “Good Night,” and it aired during the third episode of The Tracey Ullman show. It showed Bart pondering the big questions of the universe. Most people think the mind is a series of impulses, but the young future upstart hungers for something more tangible.

ABC is a big fan of Cristela. The network has picked up the freshman comedy series for a full season, ordering a back nine episodes to the show’s original 13, thus giving it a total of 22 episodes for Season 1. Cristela stars stand-up comedienne Cristela Alonzo and focuses on her character, who is a law school graduate dealing with both her professional life and her family life (specifically her family’s Mexican-American heritage). The rest of Cristela‘s cast includes Maria Canals-Barrera, Carlos Ponce, Terri Hoyos, Sam McMurray, Andrew Leeds, Justine Lupe, Isabella Day, Gabriel Iglesias, and Jacob Guenther. The series premiered premiered back in October to 6.57 million total viewers and a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demo, gaining more viewers than its lead in, the Tim Allen-led sitcom Last Man Standing, and the show’s most recent episode drew 5.19 million viewers. Alonzo tweeted out the renewal news herself, joking that it made…...

ABC has introduced four new sitcoms so far this season. Black-ish is a success and was given a full season order last month while Selfie and Manhattan Love Story were both cancelled. Meanwhile Cristela's fate was uncertain -- until now. The network has now ordered a full season of the Friday night comedy.
On Cristela, a young Mexican-American woman (Cristela Alonzo) works to become an attorney while juggling her responsibilities to her traditional family. The rest of the cast includes Maria Canals-Barrera, Carlos Ponce, Terri Hoyos, Gabriel Iglesias, Sam McMurray, Justine Lupe, and Andrew Leeds.
Debuting on October 10th, the first episode of Cristela drew a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.51 million viewers. It was an okay start. The ratings dropped in weeks two and three but have now leveled off to about a 1.0 demo rating with around five million viewers.

Roseanne Barr is a legal eagle for a new role on ABC's “Cristela.” The veteran comedienne will play Veronica, an activist lawyer and wife to Trent (Sam McMurray), on the freshman comedy, an ABC representative told TheWrap. She still loves Trent, but they just don't get along. The former hippie does pro-bono cases, which becomes interesting to Cristela (Cristela Alonzo). Roseanne Barr is returning to ABC. The comedian has landed a guest-starring role on the network’s new comedy Cristela, EW has learned exclusively. The Roseanne alum will play Veronica, Trent’s (Sam McMurray) estranged wife. Though they still love each other, they just can’t seem to get along. A former hippie-turned-lawyer/activist, Veronica does pro bono work, which appeals to Cristela (Cristela Alonzo). (Who wants to bet there's a joke about starring on titular shows?) Barr is filming her episode this week, which is slated to air in early January. Cristela airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. Et on ABC.

Now that it is just barely summer, it’s time for the networks to try their best to get you excited for fall television. ABC wants you to get excited for their schedule, and their new shows, and I’ve got some previews for you, as well as some initial thoughts.
I have to tell you, ABC is looking more and more strange as time goes on, and the overall efforts of the network really have to make you wonder. While there are some hints of interesting shows, and one or two that might turn into worthwhile vehicles, in the Eddie and the Cruisers world of television, ABC is Joe Pantoliano, clutching his tapes, and furiously blathering about the lunacy of not giving the idiotic public what they want, especially since they keep demanding it.

ABC's last bubble show has been spared! It's not a big surprise but "Last Man Standing," a consistent under-the-radar success for ABC on Friday nights, has been picked up for a fourth season. The "Last Man Standing" pickup comes after Friday's late renewal for "Nashville" and leaves ABC with no remaining shows in limbo. ABC also continued its restocking of the pantry after the cancellations of comedies including "Trophy Wife," "Super Fun Night" and "Mixology" by picking up a pair of new sitcoms. Joining ABC's schedule for the 2014-15 season are "Cristela" and "Fresh Off the Boat," which will combine with the previously ordered "Black-ish" to give ABC a comedy slate positively bursting with somewhat segregated diversity. "Fresh Off The Boat" comes from "Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23" creator Nahnatchka Kahn and follows in the footsteps of this season's period coming-of-age comedies. Set in the '90s, it's...

The last comedy standing has been renewed: ABC picked up Tim Allen’s sitcom Last Man Standing for a fourth season.
The order decides the fate of the final comedy series on the bubble from the 2013-14 season. Just a few shows remain in limbo, such as NBC’s Parenthood (expected to return) and Dracula (unlikely). Earlier this week, Last Man Standing’s Friday night companion, The Neighbors, was canceled along with several other ABC comedies (full list of axed shows this week is here).
In addition, ABC announced two more new comedy series orders: Cristela and Fresh Off the Boat.

The 20th Century Fox TV Production is written by Alonzo and Kevin Hench. Hench, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Shawn Levy will executive produce. We now know that Peter Capaldi will play the twelfth Doctor. Capaldi is a familiar face if you’re a fan of The Thick of It, Skins or The Hour. He also appeared in Torchwood: Children of Earth as well as the “Fires of Pompeii” episode of Doctor Who. Caputi’s a great actor and it’s hard to complain about his casting. Still, I wish they didn’t joke about the possibility of the Doctor being played by a woman in the lead-up. I’m fine if they’re going to keep casting straight, white, male actors in the role but I wish they wouldn’t pretend they might do something different before doing the same thing.
