It’s a sad day for “Bounty Law” fans. Rick Dalton, the actor who rose to prominence for playing Jake Cahill on the popular Western series, died at the age of 90 today. If you believe Quentin Tarantino, that is.
The official Twitter account for Tarantino and Roger Avary’s Video Archives Podcast announced the news that the fictional actor, who was played by Leonardo DiCaprio in “Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood” is no longer alive in the universe of Tarantino films.

Sergio Corbucci, described by Quentin Tarantino in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” as the second-best director of Italian westerns, sure knew how to end a movie. He could serve up thrillingly bloody catharsis in the original “Django,” his 1966 breakout that proved the global commercial viability of spaghetti westerns extended beyond the films of Sergio Leone. He could do an operatically sprawling three-way shootout on Leone’s level, as with the ending of “The Mercenary.” He could end his films with a punchline, like the comedic Mexican Revolution tale “Compañeros.” Or he could serve up the most grim, depressing denouement you’ve ever seen for any “hero’s journey” tale, like he did with the “The Great Silence.”
But knowing how to end a movie is not a skill demonstrated in “Django & Django,” a new documentary about the spaghetti auteur by Luca Rea at its best when Quentin Tarantino gives...

Exclusive: Quentin Tarantino long has taken his encyclopedic cinematic influences, including genres and actors from the past, and blended them through his filter to create wildly inventive films that have influenced many up-and-coming filmmakers. Now, he has done a similar thing that I bet will not be copied by other filmmakers. After steeping himself for a half-decade in the lore of ’60s films, stuntmen, Western TV series and the Manson family to create Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino harkened back to his love for movie novelizations and wrote one for his own movie, after the fact. The book becomes in a way its own singular Tarantino creation: Using his film as a springboard, Tarantino heads into many unexpected directions while satisfyingly expanding and fleshing out the mythology of the world and the characters populated by Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and others. If you are a fan of the movie,...

Quentin Tarantino shared some previously unreleased footage from Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood in a new trailer for the upcoming novelization of his 2019 film.

We try to list and explain as many easter eggs and 1960s pop culture references as we can after viewing Once Upon a Time in Hollywood twice.
This article contains major Once Upon a Time in Hollywood spoilers.
In many ways, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood feels like the movie Quentin Tarantino has been building to over the last decade. A picture that takes his usual giddy historical revisionism trick and adds a wistful layer of melancholy and elegiac fear about the setting of the sun, this is a movie obsessed with the past and future, including Tarantino’s early personal history (he was six-years-old in the summer of ’69) and the tomorrow that is yet to come for his career.
Still, cast all that aside, and what remains is a heartfelt love letter to 1960s Hollywood and all the groovy things we’ve lost from that time of flower power,...

Ironically, decisively, beautifully, Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood finds its footing in the unbalanced. On the one side, a rapidly fading TV star feels his career toppling over; while on the other, one house over, a wide-eyed up-and-comer has no perception of what may soon cease to be. Ghastly events would forever mark 1969 Los Angeles – painstakingly recreated to the finest detail here – as the time and place of a shift, for better or worse. And Quentin Tarantino, the crafty auteur whose poise alone has allowed him to tamper with the past, has imposed his storytelling spells upon it to create his most intimate, thoughtful, and perhaps hopeful work to date.
That may come as a surprise, given that nearly every basic aspect of this film points towards gruesomeness. Not only is there the horrid nature of the Manson Family’s crimes to consider, but there’s also fugitive filmmaker...

We’ve got a couple of fun new posters to promote Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Both of them feature movie posters for the fake films of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Rick Dalton.
The movie is set in La in the summer of 1969, it follows a time in the lives of an actor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double (Brad Pitt), and then, of course, there’s the Manson Family who is part of the haunting backdrop of the story, along with their victim Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie).
I can’t wait to see what kind of story Tarantino delivers with this next film of his. I’m sure it’s going to be awesome! I loved that first trailer that was released.
This first poster came with the caption:
“Straight from Italy comes “Kill Me Now Ringo, Said The Gringo,” now showing in a multiplex near you.

Here it is! The first trailer has been released for the ninth film of director Quentin Tarantino, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and it looks awesome! As you’ll see, it’s classic Tarantino.

This is a lively and upbeat trailer and one of my favorite aspects of it was actor Mike Moh, who seems to perfectly play Bruce Lee. We even get to see a little sparing between he and Pitt’s character. It’s a great little scene!
This movie has such an incredibly impressive cast, and I can’t wait to see it!

See Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie Dance in New ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Images (Photos)
Is that Leonardo DiCaprio doing the twist? The actor is dancing on the set of an old NBC show called “Hullabaloo” as seen in the latest images to emerge from Quentin Tarantino’s next film, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
In the new shots, which were first published by Vanity Fair, Margot Robbie (as Sharon Tate) is also dancing in the sunlight and struts down a Hollywood street, while Brad Pitt looks mightily laid back. And we even get our first look at Al Pacino as Hollywood agent Marvin Schwarz as he and DiCaprio’s character dine at the legendary Hollywood restaurant Musso & Frank’s.

It was a shock to learn that Burt Reynolds had passed away. I hoped that he already had already shot his scenes for Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but that wasn’t the case.
According to Deadline, Tarantino has cast Bruce Dern in the role that Reynolds was supposed to play. The two actor previously worked together on The Hateful Eight. I’ve been a fan of Dern for years, so it’s awesome to see that he’s joined the film.
Dern will play George Spahn in the film and he joins one hell of a great ensemble cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, James Mardsen, Michael Madsen, Tim Roth, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Lena Dunham, Emile Hirsch, Luke Perry, Scoot McNairy and James Remar.

Director Quentin Tarantino continues to build his cast for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Damon Herriman (Justified) has been cast in the role of Charles Manson in the film and Rafal Zawierucha will play director Roman Polanski, Sharon Tate’s husband. Meanwhile, Danny Strong, Sydney Sweeney, Rumer Willis, Dreama Walker, Margaret Qualley, Costa Ronin, Victoria Pedretti and Madisen Beaty have been cast in the film as well. I can’t believe how massive this cast list is getting. I’m pretty sure that next week we’ll get a notice saying that everyone is in the film.

Margot Robbie has shared the first photo of herself in the role of Sharon Tate in director Quentin Tarantino's new film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. As you can see, she looks amazing in the role! Just when you thought he was out, they pull him back in. Al Pacino has been cast in “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” joining an ever-expanding ensemble led by Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pritt, Margot Robbie, Kurt Russell, Burt Reynolds, and Dakota Fanning.
