- Starred in the original Broadway productions of "Those Endearing Young Charms" (1943), and William Faulkner's "Requiem for a Nun" (1959).
- In 1962, Screen Gems Productions once again tried to revive their old Tightrope (1959) series, this time shooting a pilot called "The Expendables". Mike Connors again starred, with Zachary Scott and Dina Merrill as featured co-stars. The pilot was produced by Clarence Greene and Russell Rouse. Once again, the pilot wasn't picked up by any of the networks.
