- Johnny White was cast as the Lieutenant of the Marines of the HMS Surprise, an extra's role in Peter Weir's Master and Commander. He spent six months in mexico for the project. Clips of White playing rugby appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Entertainment Tonight.
- Learned to play rugby from Russell Crowe while filming Master & Commander in Mexico.
- Over his career he has worked with filmmakers Paula Froehle, Laura Colella, and Lynne Sachs repeatedly.
- Currently living in a spacious artist loft in downtown Los Angeles. He is working as the Art Director of ABC's The Bachelor series. He is in the development stage of his current cinematic endeavor, "The Faktz". (February 2005)
