Talent agent David Unger has joined Three Six Zero Group co-founders Mark Gillespie and Dean Wilson to form Three Six Zero Entertainment.
Unger will serve as co-ceo of the new venture alongside Gillespie and guide Three Six Zero Group’s expansion into film, TV and digital production as well as financial and branding advisory services to the global entertainment and media industries.
As co-CEOs Unger and Gillespie will oversee offices in Los Angeles, New York and London for Three Six Zero Entertainment, which will operate in partnership with Shawn “Jay Z” Carter’s entertainment company Roc Nation.
Three Six Zero Group, whose music management clients include Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean and Deadmau5, signed a worldwide partnership deal with Roc Nation in 2010.
As previously reported, an HBO series about the world of electronic music is in development, with Harris, Gillespie, Dean Wilson, James Lassiter, Will Smith and Carter producing.

HBO is developing a half-hour fictional comedy set in the world of electronic music, according to Deadline. Titled "Higher," the series will be written by "Trainspotting" author Irvine Welsh and developed by UK DJ Calvin Harris. The potential show will be executive produced by James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Will Smith and Miguel Melendez of Overbrook Entertainment, Mark Gillespie and Dean Wilson of Three Six Zero Group, and Harris, Shawn "Jay-z" Carter, Jay Brown, and Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith of Marcy Media -- quite a lineup. This is the second collaboration between Smith and Jay-z, following their new film production of "Annie" this December. "Higher" continues Harris' successful year, following his Grammy nominations for Best Dance Recording for "Sweet Nothing" and Best Dance/Electronica Album for "18 Months." Harris has sold one million albums and 28 million singles since the album's release last October.
