Cristiana Cella Valerio

Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Cristiana Cella Valerio,
grand-daughter of the famous TV presenter Alessandro Cutolo, started
her career as a comic book writer in her early twenties. She then
became a war correspondent during the Russian - Afghanistan war in
1979. Following that experience she wrote the book "I Signori della
Guerra" (Lords of War). She got married in 1984 and moved with her
family toToscany, Italy, where she currently lives and works.
