Throughout a 25-year career on the convergence of film direction, original score, content creation, and advertising, Roney has accomplished a wide variety of projects for content providers, agencies, and brands.
Roney Giah graduated in music at MIT (Musicians Institute of Technology), Los Angeles (1993) and sound engineering at IAV, São Paulo (2003).
As a composer and audio producer, he has 25 years of experience developing soundtracks and original scores for TV series such as Hit Parade (Globoplay), feature films, and TVC's for worldwide leading advertising agencies as well as Brazilian streaming services and TV channels.
Roney founded his own full-service production company, Doiddo Films, in 2012. At Doiddo Films, he has been directing short films and TVC's with agencies like WMcCann, Young & Rubicam, Havas WW, Hogarth WW, Mullen Lowe Brazil, for brands such as ASICS, Merck Sharp & Dohme, HSBC, Credit Suisse.
In 2018, Roney was chosen by 21st Century Fox to produce and direct the animation "Little God's School."
As a director, Roney Giah was also recognized with 4 Cannes Lions (2 gold and 2 silver) as well as 3 Clio Awards (2 gold and 1 silver).
