Rep 1 has negotiated more than $2 billion in contracts for a number of top-tier Major League Baseball players. The dollar value of contracts has surged in recent years, highlighted just days ago by the record-smashing signing of Shohei Ohtani by the Los Angeles Dodgers for $700 million.

This story first appeared in the March 21-28 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seen floating in the Dead Sea's salty water alongside CBS travel editor Peter Greenberg in the new PBS documentary, Israel: The Royal Tour, which premiered March 6. In the salty water, people float to the top like a cork bobbing in water, so producers didn't want to take a chance Israel's leader might float away. That is why off-camera, crewmembers were gripping his foot. One of those crew members was Rick Feldman, who retired nearly two years ago

In public TV's new special, "Israel: The Royal Tour," CBS News travel editor Peter Greenberg travels through Israel with the country's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
The one-hour program offers an all-access look inside Israel as Greenberg and Netanyahu travel by helicopter, ship, dune buggy and bicycle through the birthplace of three great religions.
Says Netanyahu in a press release, "Many times during my years of public service I have wished there were an accessible way to share the many facets of Israel's unique beauty: its distinct landscapes, its inspiring holy sites, its ancient history and modern cities, its cultural and culinary treasures, its thriving nightlife and above all, its diverse and dynamic people. And Peter proved that he was more than up to the task."
Zap2it has an exclusive sneak peek at the special, in which Greenberg searches through a Jerusalem marketplace for one of his favorite Israeli treats: kanafi.

Early Sunday, Sept. 21, CBS News travel editor Peter Greenberg landed in Nairobi, Kenya, to speak at the African Hotel Investment Forum, but as soon as he was on the ground, he learned that five hours earlier, a terrorist siege had begun at the Westgate Mall in the central city -- and his mission changed. A former news correspondent for Newsweek, ABC News and others, Greenberg felt his adrenaline flow, and he was quickly on the scene. "It wasn't even negotiable," says Greenberg. Mexico City — President Felipe Calderon is figuratively going out on a limb – and literally down a sinkhole, up a river (with a paddle) and over the top of a few pyramids – in an attempt to boost Mexico's flagging tourism industry.
The balding, 49-year-old leader is personally trying to change his country's violent reputation by appearing as a sort of adventure tour guide in a series of TV programs to be broadcast starting in September on Public Broadcasting Service stations in the United States.
The president dons an Indiana Jones-style hat and a harness and descends a rope into the 1,000-foot-deep (375-meter) Sotano de las Golondrinas cavern, accompanied by Peter Greenberg, host of the "The Royal Tour" TV series. Calderon also straps on scuba tanks to lead Greenberg into a sinkhole lake known as a cenote in Yucatan. And he helps a Lacandon Indian paddle a boat down a river in...

Espn will follow up on its critically hailed "30 for 30" series of documentaries with a new slate of films, including one on the infamous Steve Bartman game in the 2003 National League Championship Series, in the fall.
The Bartman movie, "Catching Hell," will kick off the fall run on Sept. 27. It's directed by Oscar winner Alex Gibney ("Taxi to the Dark Side") and will delve into why Chicago Cubs fans were so eager to make Bartman -- a fan who's blamed for costing the Cubs a World Series spot in 2003 (never mind that Cubs pitchers went on to give up eight runs in the same inning) -- a scapegoat. Gibney, a Red Sox fan, then looks at his own anger at Bill Buckner's gaffe in the 1986 World Series.
"Catching Hell" was initially scheduled to be part of "30 for 30" but was pushed back a couple times.
The Espn Films documentaries will air on successive Tuesdays through Nov.

HollywoodNews.com: Patty Clarkson–that’s what her friends call her, not Patricia–is the elegant, sexy, smart actress who’s gotten her first lead role at age 50. Well, she shot “Cairo Time” when she was 48, but it’s being released next Friday after she’s rounded that infamous corner.
I wish she would stop telling people she’s 50, but she’s proud of it. Some people just grow into an age. If you saw her Oscar nominated performance in “Pieces of April” or her award winning work in “The Station Agent” or her hilarious, triumphant turn in Woody Allen’s “Whatever Works” you know age doesn’t matter.
And it runs in the family: her mom, Jackie Clarkson, was just re-elected to the New Orleans City Council for the 5th time since 2000. She’s been a popular Louisiana lawmaker for 20 years.
