Jonathan Eusebio will make his feature directorial debut with the movie after serving as a second unit director and stunt coordinator on projects such as Violent Night, Deadpool 2, Black Panther, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Deadline notes that With Love is being written by Luke Passmore based on an original script by Josh Stoddard & Matthew Murray.

How well does the Roberts family respect Josh's boundaries during the first season of the 9Jkl TV show on CBS? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether the TV show 9Jkl is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren't considered, we'd like to offer you the chance to rate all the 9Jkl season one episodes below. A CBS sitcom, 9Jkl stars Mark Feuerstein, David Walton, Elliott Gould, Linda Lavin, Liza Lapira, Matt Murray, and Albert Tsai. From creators Dana Klein and Feuerstein — a married couple — this sitcom is loosely inspired by the time they spent living next door to Feuerstein’s family. It centers on newly divorced actor, Josh Roberts (Feuerstein),...

As the "most watched" broadcast network, CBS holds its comedies to some pretty lofty standards where the Nielsen ratings are concerned. Last year, although Joel McHale's The Great Indoors was the Tiffany Network's sixth best rated scripted series in terms of its demo numbers (and 14th in terms of total viewership), it was cancelled after just one season. In the 2017-18 television season, their new comedies include Mark Feuerstein's 9Jkl TV show, as well as Me, Myself & I, and The Big Bang Theory prequel Young Sheldon. Who will have the last laugh? Will 9Jkl be cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned. A CBS scripted comedy, 9Jkl stars Mark Feuerstein, David Walton, Elliott Gould, Linda Lavin, Liza Lapira, Matt Murray, and Albert Tsai. CBS’ new sitcom 9Jkl has landed a prime piece of TV real estate, airing right after The Big Bang Theory — but are you ready to commit to a season-long lease after Monday’s series premiere?
When we meet actor Josh (Mark Feuerstein), he’s in a bit of a slump: He’s newly divorced and his long-running TV show Blind Cop just got cancelled, so he’s reduced to living in the apartment next door to his nosy parents Judy (Linda Lavin) and Harold (Elliott Gould). Even though he insists it’s just temporary, his parents are thrilled to have...

It’s been a week since “Parks and Recreation” ended. In my review of the series finale, I said that I put off my usual post-season interview with Mike Schur at the time because he was otherwise occupied. (He did, though, offer an answer of sorts as to the question of who is Potus in the year 2048.) Over the last few days, though, we emailed some questions and answers back and forth on leftover bits of business from the finale and the final season, including the show finally identifying Leslie’s party affiliation, which guest stars Schur didn’t manage to squeeze into the final season, Ron and Leslie’s brief estrangement, the religious background(s) of the all-important Lerpiss family, and more. So if you haven’t tired of Schur after the two-part interview we did before the finale, here’s us talking “Parks” one last time (sigh)… Was...

There doesn't seem to be much danger of ABC's Rookie Blue being cancelled any time soon. The show is produced in Canada and the fifth season has 22 episodes (instead of the usual 13). However, they're being split into two parts -- half will air this summer while the rest will run at a later date. This kind of move often spells the end for a series. Will there be a sixth season? Andy's got a lot on her plate on this week's Rookie Blue.
Andy (Missy Peregrym) might be conflicted between Sam (Ben Bass) and Nick (Peter Mooney), but on Thursday's episode she'll make a bold move towards one of the two. But she's also got more important things to worry about, such as whether or not her rookie Duncan (Matt Murray) has what it takes to succeed on the job. When she and Duncan find themselves alone— and in a life-and-death moment -- with a 12-year-old witness to a gang leader's death, Andy may regret giving her rookie so many chances.

Community, Season 4, Episode 10: “Intro to Knots”
Written by Andy Bobrow
Directed by Tristram Shapeero
Airs Thursdays at 8pm Et on NBC
Let’s talk for a second about Abed Nadir. In a lot of ways, he seems emblematic of the problems that have hamstrung Community’s fourth season. As soon as he arrives at Jeff’s Christmas party, he is actively trying to mold it into a Die Hard homage. This isn’t unprecedented behavior for Abed, he shaped what is perhaps the series’ best episode “Critical Film Studies” into a My Dinner With Andrew homage, but recently it seems to be his sole motivating concern week in and week out. It feels like a shift in his character. If we take a look at “Cooperative Calligraphy,” an episode “Intro to Knots” closely resembles. Abed constantly comments “It’s a bottle episode!” but he is not attempting to propagate it.

Community, Season 3, Episode 16: “Virtual Systems Analysis”
Written by Matt Murray
Directed by Tristram Shapeero
Airs Thursdays at 8pm Et on NBC
Community seems to flourish when it brings Abed’s autistic tendencies to the forefront. They played a crucial factor in the recent “Pillows and Blankets” two-parter, but it’s episodes like “Abed’s Uncontrollable Christmas,” “Critical Film Studies” and “Intermediate Chaos Theory” that “Virtual Systems Analysis” calls to mind, wherein Abed’s antisocial tics inform not just the plot but the actual structure of the episodes. Whether the resulting episode is deeply introspective (as in “Film Studies” and “Systems Analysis”), appropriately cutesy (“Christmas”) or merely wildly entertaining (“Chaos Theory”), it’s hard to argue that these aren’t singular episodes, Not just for Community, but for any recent TV show.
The cleverness with which Dan Harmon and company go about making the audience painfully aware of the conceptual...

I’ve been hearing about “Virtual Systems Analysis” for some time, with creator Dan Harmon essentially describing it as either the most brilliant episode of Community, or the worst. In that way, you could compare it to last year’s “Critical Film Studies,” the Dinner with Andre episode. Both were trying something different, and both had a heavy focus on Abed and one other member of the study group. Harmon had similar misgivings regarding “Film Studies,” but as it turned out it was one of the most celebrated episodes of the second season. Knowing that puts some added pressure to “Virtual Systems Analysis,” as if it didn’t have enough already. Any episode of Community has a certain level of expectation to it. So how did it do? Did “Virtual Systems Analysis” turn out to be the best thing or the worst thing ever?
The answer is quite simple: it was a phenomenal episode.

If Alphas can continue delivering the kind of intensity that it brought for last night’s “Anger Management,” then the show might never have to worry about being dull. I’ve been strongly reminded of the early days of Fringe as I watched these first few episodes. They’re all very standalone, but that doesn’t mean something isn’t building behind the scenes. The shot at the end where Rosen placed Matthew Murray’s tape into another a box filled with tapes of other Alphas was a stiff reminder that this group of special people have brought down a lot of scary Alphas, most probably worse than Matthew. And then I remembered that last week there were hints of an approaching war. None of this is specifically brought up, but it’s there, just beneath the surface.
