Valiant Comics has announced that Ninjak, a classic character from Valiant’s early 90s stable of heroes, will soon be making his debut appearance in X-0 Manowar #5, one of three new titles being released as part of the ‘Summer of Valiant’ relaunch. Created by Joe Quesada, Bob Layton and Mark Morreti, Ninjak was introduced in 1993 as a character with no real superpowers. Instead, we followed the super-spy exploits of Colin King, a wealthy British playboy who just so happens to be heavily trained in martial arts and dons a high-tech costume and katanna. This classic character wound up crossing over many of Valiant’s earlier titles, including the original X-o Manowar.
So how is the technologically-hardened ninja known as Ninjak finding himself in the new millennium?
“The world has changed a lot since Ninjak first debuted almost generation ago,” he says. “If you read Ninjak in the ’90s, you will instantly recognize him.
