- April Florio is a well-known Maxim and FHM (Australia/UK) model who has shot for some of the top magazines. She began working in theater and dance at the age of 6, but making time--until the age of 16--for her favorite sport, soccer. She started her career in film in her late teens with a small role in American Pie 2 (2001) that got great press in "People" magazine. She was picked by Universal Pictures' casting directors out of thousands for the part.
The daughter of the late Domenico Florio, a computer programmer, and schoolteacher (English) Deborah Mae Fink, April has one younger sibling, Vincent, who works as an animator. An animal lover, she considers her Cairn Terrier "Dakota" to be one of the family as well.
April sings soul and R&B, and wrote a humorous guide to break-ups at the age of 23. Less than three months after it was written there were offers for development into a show or screenplay.
