- May 2004 marked the debut of the "Best of the Best" showdance series, starring Van Amstel and Fryer. This show featured at the Starlight Dance Studio's in Nutley, New Jersey. Dancer Nina Marks and Ruud Vermeij suggested that Van Amstel and Fryer would re-establish their partnership on the dance floor. Van Amstel and Fryer accept a limited number of engagements to perform their show. They have accepted an invitation to the 'Superstars' in Japan (2005).
