The members of iCarly‘s nation are officially in mourning today, with Paramount+ cancelling the revival after three seasons, a rep for the streamer confirms to TVLine.
“iCarly will not be returning for a fourth season on Paramount+,” says a Par+ spokesperson. “The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together. We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”

The Groundlings will host an improv musical fundraising event on Oct. 26, featuring Ana Gasteyer, Kristen Bell, Kristen Wiig and Will Forte. The event, held at the Performing Arts Center at Vista Del Mar, will benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund to support below-the-line workers impacted by the strikes.
“One Night Only,” created and directed by Groundlings Main Company member Andrew Leeds, is a full production of a well-known Broadway musical. The catch? The improvisers are given the script and their roles only 24 hours in advance.
“These strikes have taken a terrible toll on our amazing crews, and it isn’t over yet. Even with the WGA strike ending, most crew members won’t be able to start work again until the SAG-AFTRA deal is ratified,” Leeds said in a statement. “Even then, many will be fighting to survive as they wait for productions to start back up.

Ana Gasteyer, Kristen Bell, Kristen Wiig, and Will Forte are among the performers scheduled to take part in One Night Only, a Groundlings musical improv show to benefit the Motion Picture & Television Fund.
The show, set for Thursday, October 26 in Los Angeles, will be a “fully-realized production of a well-known Broadway musical,” the catch being that the performers won’t know what show or their roles until 24 hours before curtain. “The audience finds out what the show is when the curtain rises on the most terrified group of actors you will ever see,” the improv company says.
Created and directed by Groundlings Main Company member Andrew Leeds, One Night Only will include performers Kristen Bell, Kristen Wiig, Ana Gasteyer, Will Forte, Jim Rash, Nat Faxon, Edi Patterson, Julian Gant, Michaela Watkins, Greg Worswick, Lyric Lewis, Jim Cashman, Allison Dunbar, H Michael Croner, Michelle Noh, Patty Guggenheim, Stephanie Courtney, Matt Cook,...

Plot: All drugs and alcohol are illegal except on the day of the Binge. Several years after their first Binge, best friends Hags, Andrew, Sarah, and Kimi face the realities of young adulthood as the annual Binge Day is moved to Christmas Eve. Amidst the chaos, Hags plans a proposal to Sarah while Andrew deals with his rocky relationships with his family and his girlfriend Kimmi. Will they survive this holiday season?
Review: There is something for everyone, of that I am sure. From gifts to music, toys to movies, we live in a wondrous age where whatever you can think of likely exists, and there is an audience for it. Licorice-flavored condoms? Sure, why not. Pistachio mouthwash? Go for it. Salty chocolate balls? You go, Glen Coco. If you like it, I applaud that you are living your best life. But, despite all of those well-wishes, I am not...

Marvel Studios is here to ring in another holiday with The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. It marks the second of Marvel Studios’ newly minted “Marvel Special Presentation” line, following the release of Michael Giacchino’s Werewolf by Night in October. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, written and directed by James Gunn, once again highlights the successful nature of these 45-minute specials, packing everything audiences love about the franchise into a single punch. While the limited and ongoing series, and movies, definitely aren’t going anywhere, the Marvel Special Presentations may be the MCU’s most exciting prospect.

Kat Coiro, the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law director-producer and director of Universal’s Marry Me, wants to see Hollywood stop showing single-use plastics onscreen. No more plastic water bottles. No more Solo cups. No more plastic baggies.
To de-normalize the depiction of disposable plastic in film and TV and encourage viewers to use reusable containers — all in the name of helping end the plastic pollution crisis — Coiro showed Owen Wilson packing his daughter’s lunch in Marry Me in a steel lunch box, while Jennifer Lopez drank from a blinged-out S’well bottle in the romantic comedy. And on the Marvel/Disney+ series She-Hulk, the show’s characters, including the Hulk, played by actor and environmental activist Mark Ruffalo, drink from Hydro Flasks, not throw-away plastic water bottles.

The season one finale of "She-Hulk" features an unorthodox twist. Instead of facing her foes in a brutal smash-fest, She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), breaks the fourth wall - literally - and bursts through the Disney+ menu to talk with K.E.V.I.N., a sentient robot that controls the MCU (and a comedic take on actual Marvel head Kevin Feige). The pair argue about storytelling, the McU's Disney+ series' endings, and whose show it really is.
Maslany tells Popsugar that when showrunner Jessica Gao first told her this idea for the finale, she wondered if the head honchos at Marvel would let them do it. "But I think that's why I loved it so much," she says. "It felt so innately 'She-Hulk.' And it also felt very Jessica Gao. It also felt very female. . . . To see the system for what it is and to be able...

There’s a simple reason why Madisynn King, She-Hulk‘s breakout original character, didn’t deliver a crowd-pleasing encore in the Disney+ series’ season finale.
The answer: the finale was in fact filmed first and Madisynn had yet to even be cast, so there was no predicting the reaction the party girl would receive, let alone after Episode 4 had streamed to the world.

Warning: This article contains spoilers for the "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" finale.
To say that "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law" ended on a surprising note would be an understatement. Marvel finales and third acts have a tendency to be very hit-or-miss, more often than not devolving into a messy CGI spectacle that loses sight of its emotional groundwork. So when She-Hulk, Titania, the Abomination, and even the Hulk himself found themselves gearing up for battle, it seemed like this series would be no exception — but then the writers swerved right off that predetermined route and into the unexpected.
Instead of the same thing we've seen a million times before, "She-Hulk" delivered a clever and hilarious riff on a Marvel finale, effectively blowing our minds and giving Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) complete control of her storyline. For the people pulling the strings, having Jen charge into her own writer's room was a...

Patty Guggenheim auditioned for her breakout part in "She-Hulk" as Madisynn via Zoom in her apartment thanks to the pandemic. And then, she tells Popsugar, during the video call in question, her cat jumped into her lap. "So I got to improvise with my cat a little bit, and it was really fun," she recounts. Luckily, Guggenheim was already an improv pro, since she spent years training and performing with the Groundlings in LA. So really, it's no wonder her comedic character has made such a splash.
Guggenheim had previously worked with episode director Kat Koiro, who asked her to come in for Madisynn. It wasn't a secret that she was auditioning for "She-Hulk," though the scene she was given to read had no major details about which episode or what the plot of episode four actually was. And in extra precaution of leaked spoilers, the pages literally disappeared from her device.

Warning: minor spoilers below for "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."
"She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" may have kicked off with a shakier-than-normal start, but the nine-episode Disney+ series has gradually found its footing over time. Since this is technically Marvel Studios' first straight-up comedy, it took a minute for "She-Hulk" to establish its own voice, especially within its mandated superhero conceit.
But as so many great sitcoms have already proven, the key to a successful comedy all but lives on its ensemble. Sure, solid leads are a must, too — and Tatiana Maslany certainly throws her weight where she can — but not even a charismatic heroine can distract from a glaring identity crisis.
Fortunately, that ship seems to have largely sailed for "She-Hulk," and it has a lot to do with the series' refreshing secret weapon: the hilarious women in its supporting cast. The series got a major boost with the help of...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has bestowed upon us a number of beloved pairings. There's Steve Rogers/Peggy Carter, Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes, and Steve Rogers/Sam Wilson. Of course, there are others that don't include Captain America too. For instance, thanks to "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law," we can add Wong and Madisynn King to the list of Marvel's fan-favorite duos.

Supervillain team-ups have been around almost as long as superheroes themselves. Heck, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law big bad Titania had her start in one of comics’ most famous team-ups Secret Wars, where she and Volcana immediately join forces with Doctor Doom. But after the fourth episode of She-Hulk’s Disney+ series, fans want to see the show’s big bad alongside closing time’s strongest nemesis: Madisynn.
In a video from Titania actor Jameela Jamil’s TikTok, we see Jamil and Madisynn (Patty Guggenheim) posing for photographs, costumed in their characters’ outrageous outfits. Over the sound of a hip-hop beat, we can hear a voice asking for a solo photograph of Guggenheim. Guggenheim pushes Jamil away, not even acknowledging her. Although she steps aside for a moment, Jamil soon slinks back into the picture, circling around the oblivious Guggenheim with a look that’s menacing and/or seductive.

The mid-credits sequence in which She-Hulk viewers get to see Wong, the Sorcerer Supreme, and Madisynn King, supreme party girl, fast become “besties” was not in the original script for Episode 4.
The Disney+ comedy’s Sept. 8 episode opened with magician Donny Blaze (played by Entourage‘s Rhys Coiro) pulling Madisynn (Florida Girls‘ Patty Guggenheim) from the audience as a volunteer and then sending her into an interdimensional portal that the Mystic Arts dropout opened with his sling ring. Some time later, Madisynn fell through another portal into Wong’s (MCU vet Benedict Wong) Kamar-Taj crib, where she promptly spoiled his bingeing of The Sopranos.

Warning: The following article discusses spoilers for the latest episode of "She-Hulk: Attorney At Law."
Well, you know the drill by now: Another day means another round of fresh speculation concerning the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Never mind that fans have been burned many a time before by leaping to conclusions that weren't necessarily as cut-and-dry as they might've hoped -- remember the hype surrounding Evan Peters' appearance in "WandaVision," only for all those dreams of the X-Men waltzing into the MCU to turn into Ralph Bohner? Or "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" seemingly capitulating to all those fan-casts for John Krasinski to take on the role of Reed Richards, only for the alternate universe character to find himself, ah, a bit stretched out instead?
Anyway, all of these past examples of lessons learned should probably run through every fan's mind before anyone jumps the gun and starts setting...

Spoilers ahead through episode 4 of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law."
If you've watched the fourth episode of "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law," you might be fuming right now. If you haven't, I promise you only mild "She-Hulk" spoilers. The director of the series, Cat Koiro, made no such promise about spoiling a different series, "The Sopranos," in the episode.
In the episode, we meet Madisynn. She's a perpetually buzzed woman from a magic show who takes a liking to Wong (Benedict Wong). She's played brilliantly by Patty Guggenheim ("Florida Girls"), and I hate that this means you're likely going to skip over parts of her scenes, because she's my new favorite character on the show. That said, these are huge spoilers. We're talking two of the biggest ones in the entire series.
Director Koiro had some interesting things to say about whether or not she feels guilty about those scenes in an interview with THR.

This She-Hulk review contains spoilers.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Episode 4
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has always adopted a, let’s say, irreverent tone. The precedent was established early on in 2008’s Iron Man. Using the film’s screenplay as more of a suggestion than a bible, Robert Downey Jr. and Jeff Bridges helped imbue the franchise with a wise-cracking, improvisational spirit that would carry on to just about every other film.
Still, even though most Marvel properties don’t let too many beats pass between jokes, none of them have ever fully bent towards outright cartoonish farce. That is, not until now with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Through four episodes, She-Hulk is truly like nothing else Marvel has ever produced, and perhaps that’s why it’s proven to be so divisive. Episode 1 established its heroine’s fourth wall-breaking abilities and since then the show has allowed itself to become goofier week after week,...

(She) Hulk smash.
Marvel Studios’ latest Disney+ series, “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” is nearly here. A series centered around Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a hardworking young lawyer who just so happens to be the cousin of Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), aka the Hulk. After revealing her powers, she’s put in charge of a superhero division at a prestigious law firm. Could it get any more complicated?
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” is Marvel Studios’ first half-hour comedy and also its first “lawyer show,” and seeing as this is the first MCU representation of She-Hulk, fans are clamoring for the brand-new show. This is undoubtedly leaving many wondering – what time are new episodes streaming on Disney+, exactly? We’ve got info on that and everything else you need to know about “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” below.

There are two things to know going into She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Disney+’s first Marvel comedy series. One, it is very much a comedy, and two, it is very much a TV series.
Yes, Hawkeye may be competing at the Emmys as a comedy (and it did have moments both fwip!py and quippy), but She-Hulk is, as Tatiana Maslany’s title character tells us up front, a “funny lawyer show.” And whereas the likes of WandaVision, Loki, Falcon and Winter Soldier have all felt very much like [groan] “X-episode movies!,” She-Hulk (which premieres this Thursday) is by design more episodic in nature,...

Florida Girls is coming back for another go-round as Pop TV has renewed its comedy series for a second season.
Florida Girls, from Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment and Jax Media, sat on the shelf for quite awhile — it premiered more than a year after originally picked up to series. But once it launched in July, it was a breakout, drawing strong reviews. It quickly joined Pop’s flagship Schitt’s Creek, heading into its sixth and final season, Flack, renewed for a second season, and newly picked up One Day at a Time as a tentpole in the network’s scripted portfolio.
Inspired by the life of creator and star Laura Chinn, Florida Girls is about four friends who are making the most out of life while living below the poverty line in Clearwater, Fla. The four confront their stagnant lives when their only ambitious friend moves away to follow...

Laura Chinn didn’t know that her childhood in Florida was unusual until she moved to Los Angeles and started to talk about it.
“Someone would just ask me a casual question about my childhood, and I would respond with a story or adventure that I had gone on,” said Chinn. “And people’s reactions were so, like, shocked,” she said.
Growing up in Clearwater, on the state’s west coast, Chinn and her friends were forced to grow up fast.
“We were all raised by single moms and that left us to raise ourselves in a lot of ways. There was no curfew, there was no structure, no family vacations, no family dinner. Everyone dropped out of high school, and all of that just seemed very normal to me,” said Chinn. “At 12 years old, I could just walk out my front door and didn’t have to come home until three in the morning…...

While at SeriesFest 5 in Denver recently, I had the opportunity to attend a fascinating panel featuring showrunners and series creators under 40.
In addition to the creators and showrunners of This Close on Sundance and Joey Slamon of Tru TV's I'm Sorry was Laura Chinn of Pop TV's Florida Girls.
If not for that panel, I might have skipped over the latest Pop series, but Chinn was a hoot. Her series captures her essence, and Florida Girls is must-see comedy.
You might not know about Chinn, but she's been lurking behind some good shows including Grandfathered and The Mick.
With Florida Girls, she has taken her personal story and blown it up for the world to see. It's not exactly her life, but her life is its inspiration.
Before this review begins, let’s be clear. Reviewing comedy is not my thing, and I am not a comedian.
