Colombian singer Carlos Vives has finally settled his divorce from second wife Herlinda Gomez - two years after she filed for a legal separation.
The former couple split in 2006, after Gomez accused Vives of cheating on her with former Miss Colombia Claudia Elena.
The pair have been battling through two years of litigation for the separation to become official, but finally reached a resolution at a Miami, Florida, family court at the end of last month.
According to PeopleEnEspanol.com, the Matilde Linda star has agreed to pay his ex-wife $25,000 (GBP12,500)-a-month, in addition to handing her their $1 million (GBP500,000) Miami mansion.
Vives has two children with Gomez: Carlos Enrique, 15, and 12-year-old Lucía. It is currently unknown which parent has custody of the children.
