Skandfer is trained as a classic animator, but came into the industry just as CG was starting to take over. This moved him into designing and directing for animation. Through companies like Qvisten Animation, Filmkameratene, Academy Award winning Mikrofilm and Academy Award winning Storm Studios, he's worked on hundreds of projects, from simple ads to feature films. He's known for creating and co-creating the popular character Fantorangen for NRK, the Monsters of Dunderly and the award winning graphic novel Krüger & Krogh. In 2013 he founded the production company Fabelfjord with producer Merete Korsberg and writer/producer Endre Lund Eriksen. The company does commercial work, short films, and has both TV-series and feature films in development. The company's first short, Dunder, was directed by Skandfer, and earned the company two awards and several nominations. Skandfer grew up in Harstad, a town in the north of Norway.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Merete Korsberg, producer
