With over 17 years of experience as a seasoned Senior Character Setup Artist, my true passion lies in the creation of captivating, visually appealing, and technically proficient 3D characters.
Currently, I am honored to serve as a Senior Character Technical Director at Dreamworks Animation, where I contribute to the development of high-quality character rigs for feature animated films.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to explore various roles within the industry. While my journey has encompassed responsibilities as a Product Manager, Game Designer, and Unity Developer, my heart is truly drawn to the art of crafting 3D characters. The process of bringing these characters to life and infusing them with depth, personality, and emotion is where my passion truly shines.
Additionally, I had the privilege of venturing into independent game development, honing my skills as a Unity developer. Although challenges arose, and projects did not reach their intended goals, this period provided invaluable insights into the world of video game development, ultimately fueling my passion for creating memorable and captivating 3D characters.
During my tenure as a Senior Unity3D Developer at Helios Interactive, I had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge VR/AR experiences for clients like Lionsgate, Visa, and Druval, I delved into the realm of interactive entertainment, leveraging my expertise to create immersive experiences that showcased the artistry of 3D characters.
As a Senior Character Technical Director at Sony Pictures Imageworks, working alongside industry-leading professionals, I contributed to the visual effects of various films, acquiring invaluable knowledge and skills that further fueled my love for bringing 3D characters to life.
My educational background includes a B.F.A. in Computer Animation from Ringling School of Art and Design. The guidance and mentorship provided by the esteemed faculty and artists at this renowned institution have played a pivotal role in shaping my artistic accomplishments.
