This article contains spoilers for Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 3 episode 15.
After a rollercoaster journey of three seasons and 47 episodes, Star Wars: The Bad Batch has finally come to an end. The beloved Clone Force 99 have hung up their helmets in an epic 50-minute finale that rounds off their stories while also setting up the future of the galaxy far, far away. Things come to a head in the aptly named “The Cavalry Has Arrived,” which serves as an emotional swansong for our titular troupe of outcast clones.
The Zillo Beasts Returns and Tech Doesn’t
All roads lead to Mount Tantiss, and following last week’s cliffhanger ending, Crosshair, Hunter, and Wrecker (all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) launch a rescue mission alongside former Imperial Vice Admiral Rampart (Noshir Dalal). Meanwhile, Echo (Baker) finds himself inside the base and working with Dr. Emerie Karr (Keisha Castle-Hughes), who’s had a change of heart.

Clone Force 99 is back in action.
The last time we saw the genetically altered clone troopers in Disney+’s The Bad Batch, they were dealing with the presumed death of Tech, who’d died during a mission, and the loss of clone Omega, who’d been captured by the Empire. Omega, however, had also reunited with Kaminoan scientist Nala Se as well as Crosshair, both of whom seemed to be waking up to the Empire’s true (evil) nature. Meanwhile, Hunter and Wrecker were determined to track down Omega (and, perhaps, Crosshair), while Echo joined up with Rex to fight the Empire.
On Feb. 21, the third and final season of the animated series debuts on Disney+ (watch the trailer). Disney+ released an official description for the third season: “In the epic final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the Batch will have their limits tested in the fight to...

Welcome class! In today's lesson on "Why Star Wars Animation is the best Star Wars," we'll be talking about the third and final season of "Star Wars: The Bad Batch."
A continuation of the beloved "Clone Wars" animated series centered on the members of Clone Force 99 (each of whom bears unique genetic traits or mechanical implants that distinguish them from other clones), "The Bad Batch" does a better job of balancing standalone storytelling with connections to the rest of the "Star Wars" universe than most of its live-action peers on Disney+. More than that, it's a show that takes the anti-fascist messaging at the core of George Lucas' creation to heart by revealing how the rise of the Galactic Empire led to a clamp-down on both personal freedoms and the quality of life for your average civilian in a galaxy far, far away.
That goes double for the clones, all...

Disney+ has just dropped a thrilling new trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch,’ signaling the arrival of the final season of this Lucasfilm Animated series. Fans of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ will be excited, as ‘The Bad Batch’ spins off from this Emmy® award-winning series.
The final chapter, packed with adventure and drama, will test the limits of the Batch as they strive to reunite with Omega. Omega faces her own set of challenges trapped in an Imperial science lab. The team, now fragmented, faces threats from every corner. To overcome these challenges, they’ll need to find new allies, take on risky missions, and use all they’ve learned to break free from the Empire.
The voice cast is a stellar mix of talent. It includes Dee Bradley Baker from ‘American Dad!’ Michelle Ang of ‘Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462,’ Keisha Castle-Hughes from ‘Whale Rider,’ Jimmi Simpson of ‘Westworld,...

This article contains spoilers for Ahsoka, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Ahsoka hasn’t yet been officially renewed for another season, but with all of the loose threads left by the season 1 finale, it’s hard not to dream about where season 2 could take these characters.
With Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson), Sabine (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno), and Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) now stranded on Peridea and Thrawn (Lars Mikkelson) returning home with an army of entombed Nightsisters in tow, there is a lot at stake across not just one, but two galaxies. Now that the Nightsisters have officially made a comeback in the New Republic era, I can’t think of a better character to bring into Ahsoka than Nightsister Merrin (Tina Ivlev).
First introduced in the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Merrin has since appeared in the 2023 sequel Star Wars...

This Star Wars: The Bad Batch review contains spoilers.
The Bad Batch continues to fill in details about the transition from the Republic to the Empire. As the episode title “Replacements” might suggest, the Empire’s new elite troops are here. Or, at least, a squad of recruits who might mark the beginning of the death trooper program. With the new troopers, Tarkin, and a new Imperial Vice Admiral on the stage, there’s a distinct Rogue One feeling in the air. Meanwhile, the Bad Batch try to get themselves out of trouble on an airless moon.
These storylines lead to a few easter eggs and references that go back to the Original Trilogy and even a few Legends stories. Let’s take a look at all the hidden (and not-so-hidden) connections to the rest of the Star Wars saga:

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 3
In Star Wars, as in most other media, the main character may not be the most creative figure but does need to be the one who grows and changes. Luke Skywalker went from farm boy to full-fledged Jedi Knight between A New Hope and Return of the Jedi; Anakin Skywalker became literally unrecognizable over the course of two trilogies. For now, the characters of The Bad Batch remind me of Luke at the end of A New Hope: their triumphs and foes are compelling, but they haven’t really gestured toward a path to dramatic change yet. A grim episode that introduces a handful of new characters, “Replacements” follows beats right on the line between classic and tired. The creature and new villains are fun, but I’m still not sure the Batch themselves...

CW Seed has released a blood-soaked first look at their upcoming animated series Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons. This is a 12-episode original series that stars Michael Chiklis (The Shield) as Slade Wilson and as you’ll see, it doesn’t hold back on the blood and violence. It looks like it’ll be a wild and entertaining series!
The show comes from Constantine: City of Demons writer J.M. DeMatteis and Niko and the Sword of Light director Sung Jin Ahn. The story for the series sees Slade go up against Hive.
Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons follows in the tradition of CW Seed’s animated series Vixen and Freedom Fighters: The Ray. Ten years ago, Slade Wilson — aka the super-assassin called Deathstroke — made a tragic mistake and his wife and son paid a terrible price. Now, a decade later, Wilson’s family is threatened once again by the murderous Jackal and the terrorists of H.
