General Hospital (Gh) spoilers claim Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) allegedly fell to his death in the waters of the English Channel on a night that should’ve been one of the most magical of his life to have shared with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
Going overboard in a scuffle with a murderous Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), neither of their bodies were recovered from the water.
The lack of closure left fans immediately suspicious that neither of them are really dead. But Chavez’s recent announcement confirming that he won’t be returning to the sudser has left fans wondering if his hiatus will be much longer. How do you see this working out?

General Hospital fans are in for a treat as the show brings some exciting casting updates. A new character, Giovanni Palmieri has stirred interest, particularly for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
However, it appears that Trina Robinson, played by Tiana Ali, could be the one for him. Another notable return is that of Nicholas Chavez, who played Spencer Cassadine. Chavez has confirmed his exit, but a recast is likely to happen. The exit of Chavez sparked comments from his co-star, Tabyana Ali, who stated she hopes to work with him again in the future.
Adding to the excitement, the character of Mac Scorpio, played by John J York, is returning after the actor’s successful recovery from cancer. The show also introduces various characters for the wedding scenes, including the Cerullo contingency from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
Giovanni Palmieri, played by actor and musician Giovanni Mazza, is set to stick around when the rest leave.

New York real estate scion Robert Durst has been at the forefront of Andrew Jarecki’s mind for close to 20 years. In 2005, the director began working on “All Good Things,” a narrative film inspired by Durst and the 1982 disappearance of his first wife. That was followed by Jarecki’s 2015 HBO bombshell six-part docuseries “The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst,” which uncovered evidence of Durst’s connection to various murders and concluded with Durst’s shocking hot mic admission, “Killed them all, of course.” Durst was arrested the day before the final episode thanks to the docuseries. The timing of the arrest led to criticism that Jarecki, his producers and HBO had delayed sharing incriminating discoveries with law enforcement officials for the sake of the series and ratings. Jarecki denies this.
Jarecki could have easily said goodbye to Durst nine years ago. The helmer, previously Oscar nominated for “Capturing the Friedmans,...

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers reveal that while Spencer Cassadine has been presumed dead, fans know that actor Nicholas Chavez is simply on hiatus from the soap, filming a Netflix series, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.
Still, a recent move from the young actor has everyone wondering if Spence will return to Port Charles, or if the role might be recast.
General Hospital Spoilers – Is Nicholas Chavez Returning As Spencer Cassadine?
According to reports, Chavez still has time left on his Gh contract and negotiated a temporary exit so he could work on the Netflix project.
Gh has noted in the past that Nicholas would reprise his role after he was done filming; however, in the entertainment industry, things change all the time.
As Spencer is presumed dead, he could remain dead, if Nicholas decides not to return to the daytime drama, or another actor could be recast into the role.

The following contains spoilers from the March 3 episode of CBS‘ CSI: Vegas.
This Sunday night on CSI: Vegas, Josh Folsom’s professional future was left in the hands of the Las Vegas Review Board and CSI supervisor Maxine Roby. Because though Josh hadn’t killed Kahn Schefter, he did cross several lines — including expertly cleaning the scene after he and Trey spent several hours alone with the man who’d murdered Jeanette Folsom.

With CSI: Vegas‘ reveal that it was drug lord Raphael Tarquenio and his nephew who had offed Kahn Schefter aka the man who murdered Jeannette Folsom, CSI Josh should be in the clear, right?
Oh, you’re so very wrong. Because the fact remains that Josh crossed many a line in the course or capturing Schefter and torturing him for information about his mom’s murder. And in this Sunday’s episode (airing at 10/9c on CBS), it will be up to the Las Vegas Review Board — and at-times surprising testimony from Max (Paula Newsome) — to determine the fate of the heretofore-stellar CSI’s career.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was quite a polarising film. It brought in iconic characters from Marvel Comics, and had one of the most highly anticipated fights in the MCU; Doctor Strange vs. Scarlet Witch.
Despite this, there were also many things that it did not get right. The unfortunate CGI, poor character development, and questionable pacing of the film made fans especially critical of it when giving their thoughts.

It would seem that another shortcoming can be added to the list of all the things Benedict Cumberbatch’s film got wrong. A found recently pointed out a gaping plot hole in the film’s story and it all has to do with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.

Jon Bon Jovi is a rare hairband frontman who has been able to extend his hit music career beyond the 80s metal rock era. He crossed over as a solo artist, but his band, Bon Jovi, remains one of the most beloved in the rock genre with hits such as “Livin’ on a Prayer” and “You Give Love a Bad Name” (which was played all over the trailer to Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s ode to stuntmen in David Leitch‘s The Fall Guy). Hulu has now released the trailer for the upcoming documentary for the story of the band told from their own personal perspectives. The Hulu doc, Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story teases their famous frontman preparing audiences by saying, “I’ve got a story to tell.”

Look for a blast-from-the-past to return next week to Port Charles.
William Lipton is checking back into General Hospital — but only for a brief visit. He will reprise his role as Cameron Webber, who was last seen on the sudser in early 2023 when the character took off for college.
Cameron is back in Port Charles because his best friend Spencer is presumed dead. In the Jan. 31 episode of the ABC soap, Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) fell off a boat, leaving fans to believe he drowned. The fate of Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) was left up in the air, too.
Get ready for the world’s most obvious spoiler: Spencer is probably not sleeping with the fishes. In real life, Chavez is on a leave of absence to play Lyle Menendez in the Netflix limited series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

More changes are happening in Port Charles as Avery Pohl, who has played Esme Prince since 2021, has exited General Hospital. Her last episode aired on Wednesday, January 31. As reported by Soap Opera Digest, an ABC spokesperson confirmed Pohl’s departure, which came as a surprise to many viewers. In Wednesday’s episode, Pohl’s Esme and her ex-boyfriend Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) were presumed dead after a scuffle in Paris. It was already known that Chavez would be taking a hiatus from the long-running soap as he is currently filming Season 2 of Ryan Murphy’s hit Netflix anthology series Monster. Chavez is set to play Lyle Menendez, one of the infamous Menendez brothers, who were convicted in 1996 for the murders of their parents. However, while viewers expected Chavez’s exit, Pohl’s came as a shocker. It’s not yet known if Pohl will reprise her role in the future,...

Nicholas Alexander Chavez‘ temporary General Hospital exit has triggered a permanent exit for one of his co-stars. An ABC spokesperson confirms that Avery Pohl — who since 2021 has played Esme Prince, the girlfriend-turned-nemesis of Chavez’ Spencer — has left the soap.
Pohl made her final appearance in the Jan. 31 episode when Esme — along with Spencer — were presumed dead following a maritime scuffle in Paris. The twist sets the stage for Chavez’ multi-month leave of absence to shoot Season 2 of Ryan Murphy’s Netflix anthology Monster (in which he’ll star as one half of the infamous Menéndez Brothers). America Ferrera has made a career of playing real women, ranging from portraits of historical figures (such as political activist Helen Chávez in “Cesar Chavez”) to portrayals of the relatable plights faced by everyday girls everywhere (as embodied by the actress’ viral speech in “Barbie.”)
Ferrera’s selection of roles have seeming all lead to her turn in Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie,” which landed Ferrera a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2024 Oscars. But the former teen star was already an icon to fans of the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” franchise, “Ugly Betty,” and “Superstore.” “Barbie” was just a nice reminder that maybe we’ve all been taking Ferrera’s talents for granted too long.
Let’s not forget that Ferrera made history by winning the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for “Ugly Betty,” becoming the first Latina woman to take home the prize in the category.

Nicholas Chavez, who has been portraying long-time General Hospital character Spencer Cassadine since 2021, will be going on hiatus from the ABC soap opera very, very soon. As reported by TVLine, Chavez’s final episode for a while will air this Wednesday, January 31. However, this isn’t a permanent goodbye but rather a temporary absence while Chavez goes to film a leading role in Ryan Murphy‘s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story. It hasn’t yet been explained how the long-running daytime soap will write Spencer out of the series or if he’ll be replaced by another actor, similar to how Courtney Fulk took over from Eden McCoy as Jossyln Jacks while McCoy was on hiatus. As speculated by Michael Fairman, it’s possible Spencer will follow Trina (Tabyana Ali) to Paris, where she is set to study at the Sorbonne for a semester. This would allow the...

McCoy’s return comes weeks after another major return was announced.

On Tuesday, the board of the Critics Choice Association notified the roughly 63 members of its approximately 600-member organization who were also members of the Hollywood Creative Alliance that they would have to pick one group or the other.
The Cca’s board said that it had concluded this step was necessary because it had uncovered “evidence that a representative of the Hca has improperly suggested to at least one studio (and we suspect more) that it could influence Critics Choice Awards voting,” and that this “led that studio to reach out to Cca and request that action be taken to protect the integrity of our awards.”
The Hca has been plagued by external criticisms and internal dissension for years and even changed the name of its organization (from the L.A. Online Film Critics Society to the Hollywood Critics Association) and awards show (it used to be the Hca Awards...

Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny have joined “Monster” Season 2 at Netflix, Variety has learned.
The two A-listers join previously announced stars Cooper Koch and Nicholas Alexander Chavez in the upcoming season of the anthology series, which will focus on the Menéndez brothers. The season is officially titled “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story” and is slated to debut later in 2024.
Erik (Koch) and Lyle Menéndez (Chavez) were convicted of the murders of their parents, José (Bardem) and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menéndez (Sevigny), in 1996. Authorities argued the brothers committed the murders to inherit their father’s fortune, while the brothers maintained that they killed their parents after years of mental and physical abuse.
“Monster” was co-created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. Both serve as executive producers along with Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, David McMillan, Louise Shore, and Carl Franklin. The first season focused on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.
