- Minita has a long history of advocacy and activism for women and non-binary artists of color and sexual assault survivors. She is Founder of IGNITE: a professional mentorship program for BIPOC gender diverse artists, Co-Founder of PATHWAYS a two year professional development and mentorship program in partnership with AGE (Advance Gender Equity in the Arts) and ART in Portland. She was the National Program Director for Statera Arts Mentorship Program connecting over 3000 women and non-binary artists nationally.
