The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 has just begun, but it’s already bringing the drama.
In true Jersey fashion, the ladies did not disappoint with their chaos, fights, and, quite honestly, ridiculousness.
Bravo has given Rhonj fans a few sneak peeks at the show’s upcoming episodes, which focus on a new feud and celebration.
It’s no secret that Rachel Fuda and Jenn Fessler are no longer friends.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Rachel feels betrayed by Jenn, and yes, it has everything to do with Teresa Giudice.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers are getting a front-row seat to how this new feud came to light.
Rachel Fuda calls out Jenn Fessler, and celebrating Joe Gorga on Rhonj
In the latest preview video, Jenn and her husband, Jeff, Danielle Cabral and her husband, Nate, and Rachel and her husband, John Fuda, talk about Nate’s party the night before.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans better buckle up, because Season 14 will feature a feud we never saw coming.
Yes, we are talking about a faceoff between Margaret Josephs and Dolores Catania — who tends to stay out of the drama as much as she can.
However, it seems Dolores has grown tired of playing Switzerland because she recently teased the “biggest fight ever” between them.
At this point, there’s not one person on the cast who isn’t fighting with someone else, which should make for a great season.
Jackie Goldschneider is no longer friends with Margaret and Melissa Gorga, and we’ll see that feud will play out as the season progresses.
Danielle Cabral had a physical altercation with former friend Jennifer Aydin; Rachel Fuda is mad at Jenn Fessler over her budding friendship with Teresa Giudice, plus the Jersey husbands are also at each other’s throats.

We’re only two episodes into the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but the drama is already at an all-time high.
In the season opener, Teresa Giudice shared a revelation from Frank Catania regarding a pre-reunion meetup that he attended.
The Fudas, Joe and Melissa Gorga, Jenn Fessler, Margaret Josephs, and Jackie Goldschneider were also at the meeting to allegedly plan a Luis “Louie” Ruelas and Teresa takedown.
Dolores Catania and Rachel Fuda have already weighed in on the situation, noting that it wasn’t as scandalous as Teresa made it out to be.
Dolores reasoned that it was customary for the cast to meet before the reunion, and Rachel also saw nothing wrong with what they did.
Now, the man at the center of the drama, Frank Catania, is finally speaking out, and he’s not happy with the way Teresa and Luis “manipulated” their conversation.

Is Melissa Gorga officially done with Rhonj after Season 14 ends? She did not even know what would happen when Teresa Giudice made it seem like one had to go after last season’s reunion. They were both welcomed back but things are not the same. So, is Melissa seeing herself out? Keep reading for more details on the mother of three’s future.
Melissa Gorga Done With Rhonj After Season 14?
When Season 13 ended, it appeared that it was going to be between Melissa Gorga and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice. This was tricky as Teresa is an Og of Rhonj plus she has been a fan favorite for years. No matter what she does, it seems that audiences appreciate her for keeping the franchise going. Her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa, came onto the show in Season 3 and it was always up and down. They would have moments of beauty and calm.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans dragged Rachel Fuda on social media after she cropped Teresa Giudice out of the Season 14 group photo, but was she justified?
We’re getting more information about why she made that move, and according to Dolores Catania, it wasn’t Rachel who started it.
She noted that Rachel was in retaliation for something that Teresa started and the newbie was clapping back.
Fans of the show are aware that Teresa and her husband Luis Ruelas are feuding with Rachel and her husband John Fuda, so they assumed the cropped photo was about that.
Now that we have more clarity on the situation let’s see if Rhonj fans will change their tune or continue to bash the brunette beauty.
Meanwhile, Season 14 recently premiered and it kicked off with an altercation between Teresa and the Fudas with much more to come as the season plays out.

Dolores Catania has some piping hot tea about The Real Housewives of New Jersey and she spilled the fiery details in a recent video.
We’ve already started the countdown to Season 14 and Dolores gave us just enough to hold us over until May 5 when the show returns.
While getting ready for an event, the brunette beauty had fun with her social media followers during a quick Q&a and talked about the fire that dampened their cast trip.
This is a highly anticipated season as viewers are curious to see how the cast managed to film for several months without interactions between Teresa Giudice and Melissa and Joe Gorga.
People had grown tired of the decade-long drama between the Gorgas and the Giudices that overshadowed everything else on the show.
Instead of wiping the slate clean with an Rhony-style revamp, producers kept the Season 13 cast intact with a few newbies in the mix.

Blake Cameron James as Malik and Gian Knight Ramirez as Eric, in We Grown Now. Courtesy of Participant. Courtesy of Sony Pictures Classics.
In a touching portrait of childhood friendship, the child-focused We Grown Now captures the magic and innocence of childhood, even one where the two inseparable friends, elementary-school age boys, are growing up in poverty in a housing project that later became infamous for violence and a symbol of urban decay, Chicago’s Cabrini-Green. But in the early 1990s, when this story is set, all that is still in the future although very much on the horizon. Like Florida Project, the story is told from a child point-of-view, as the boys play and explore their world with all the joy and curiosity of childhood.
The real appeal of this moving drama is in performances of the two young actors playing these friends, performances filled with believability and an inescapable appeal and charm.

Dolores Catania will be sporting a slender new figure for the new season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and her boyfriend, Paul Connell, is right there with her.
The two recently dished about their combined 70-pound weight loss, and yes, they went the controversial route.
Dolores hasn’t been shy about her Ozempic use despite getting backlash for using the popular diabetes drug back in 2023.
The Rhonj star has since switched to Mounjaro, and she’s been dropping the extra pounds and loving it now that she’s back to her high school weight.
It didn’t take much convincing for Paul to jump on the bandwagon, and he’s also been seeing results from taking the weekly injectable.
Now, the hot couple is raving about their weight loss and how much their lives have improved over the past several months.

Problemista is a love story about two strangers who up an unlikely friendship despite their distinct personalities. In its very surrealistically quirky depiction of a platonic relationship between Alejandro and Elizabeth, this film also explores the struggles of an immigrant finding ways to ensure his residence in the country. Moreover, Problemista has a lot of symbolism and motifs that are depicted quite flamboyantly through Tilda Swinton’s portrayal of Elizabeth.

His endearing mother, Dolores, believed Alejandro to be her perfect creation and was quite overprotective of her son. She often dreamt about Alejandro wearing a blue T-shirt and entering a mysterious cave deep inside a forest. It is implied that Alejandro must face a monster inside the cave, too. At the time,...

Chicago – There was once a Chicago housing project called Cabrini Green, and its legacy was a damning testament to Chicago’s mismanagement of housing for the poor in general. It’s gone now, the victim of gentrification, but its memory lives on in “We Grown Now,” a new release from writer and director Minhal Baig.
Rating: 4.0/5.0
The film is set in 1992, rightly called the beginning of the end for the massive high-rise Chicago Housing Authority complex. Malik and Eric (Blake Cameron James and Gian Knight Ramirez) are best friends and neighbors at Cabrini, idling between school and imaginative play. Malik’s mother Dolores (Jurnee Smolett) and his grandmother Anita (S. Epatha Merkerson) keep body and soul together for their family, along with Eric’s father Jason (Lil Rei Howery). When a fellow child 7-year-old resident Dantrell Davis is killed in a gang related shooting, Dolores takes steps to move out,...

Set in and around Chicago’s Cabrini-Green housing complex in 1992, writer-director Minhal Baig’s We Grown Now follows best friends Malik (Blake Cameron James) and Eric (Gian Knight Ramirez), who were born and raised in the low-income housing project most people associate with its high crime and poverty rates. For the two boys, though, Cabrini-Green is neither abhorrent nor an aberration, but rather a self-contained world containing all their hopes and dreams, and which they leave only to walk to elementary school.
Told primarily from Malik’s point of view, the film delicately captures both the wonder and tunnel vision of adolescence, particularly through its depiction of the built-in defense mechanism that is his imagination. In the opening scene, Malik and Eric take an old mattress from an abandoned apartment and, after realizing the elevator is broken, drag it down several flights of stairs and outside, where they use it...

When the Westworld TV series premiered on October 2, 2016, it became a massive hit for HBO. The series was an adaptation of the 1973 cult classic movie of the same name by Michael Crichton and its 1976 sequel, FutureWorld, but borrowed only the concept while creating its own fictional world with new characters and concepts. The original series was created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who developed the story while exploring different concepts related to artificial intelligence and life, humanity, free will, and the like.
The series aired for four seasons, but while the series has always been met with, more or less, positive reviews, as the story progressed, the plot became less comprehensible and it strayed away from the first season so much that it did not seem like the same series anymore. Although Nolan claimed that he had a five-season plan for the series, HBO canceled it in 2022 after four...

Jonathan Nolan hasn’t given up the idea of bringing Westworld back online.

In 2024, could there be sure a thing as a “hip film studio” that would attract both filmmakers and adventurous filmgoers despite the subject matter or “creatives”? From the intense internet “buzz” the answer is a big yes. A century ago it was those Warner Brothers with their urban crime thrillers (before expanding into swashbucklers and tearjerkers). And there are those studios that specialize in a genre as Blumhouse does with horror and the Marvel Studios with their comics properties. Perhaps the last time a studio inspired nearly blind loyalty may have been in the early 90s with Miramax, which introduced us to, among many, Kevin Smith and Quentin Tarantino before one of the founders started the spark that became “Me Too”. Today it is A24, which grabbed the top six Oscars a year ago. Last week saw the release of Love Lies Bleeding. From that quirky crime noir/love story...

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 trailer is finally here, and honestly, it’s hard to express our level of excitement right now.
A lot is going down in the Garden State, and we’re about to get into all of it as we await the premiere.
If we could sum up the trailer in a few words, marital drama, betrayal, and broken friendships are the first things that jump out, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.
The entire cast has returned from last season, and that includes full-time Housewives Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice, Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, Jennifer Aydin, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, and friends, Jenn Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider.
Before we delve into the drama, let’s address the elephant in the room, the Gorgas vs the Giudices.

Teresa Giudice is returning to Bravo along with The Real Housewives of New Jersey as Season 14 is set to debut on Sunday, May 5 at 8 p.m. Et.
The new season’s cast also includes returning housewives Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda. Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler return as friends.
Bravo dropped a trailer for Season 14, which shows friendship dynamics shifting as Goldschneider and Giudice work on a relationship, which doesn’t make Josephs too happy. Both Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa are sending their daughters off to college, which should make for an emotional season.
Check out the Rhonj Season 14 trailer above and the housewives bios below.

Over 15 years after its release, "The Dark Knight" remains one of the best superhero movies ever made. It's a blockbuster that changed movies forever, helping usher in the era of superhero domination in cinema and legitimizing the genre as more than just popcorn fare. Heath Ledger's posthumous Academy Award win marked the first time a superhero movie had received recognition for its acting at a major awards show, while the movie being snubbed for a Best Picture nod led to the so-called "Dark Knight Rule" (which extended the category's number of nominees from five to 10).
"The Dark Knight" was also the movie that kickstarted Christopher Nolan's love of IMAX, and, all that aside, is just a well-written film with fantastic dialogue that continues to be referenced and parodied to this day. Arguably, however, no line has taken quite on a life of its own quite like Harvey Dent saying,...

You will probably laugh the first time Alejandro (Julio Torres) walks though the frame in Problemista, seemingly bouncing off the ground before gliding across it, almost as if he were walking on eggshells—or paintings of them. (More on those in a bit.) Which makes sense, given that this aspiring toy designer from El Salvador who’s looking for a co-signer for his visa so that he can remain in the United States is very wary of angering the powers that be who are holding him back from his dreams in both visible and invisible ways.
But somewhere around the fourth or fifth time that Torres performs this dormouse shimmy in his feature-length directorial debut, the gag lapses into the grating. What initially scans as a reflection of a young man’s existential fear of disrupting the order of the universe becomes a literalization of how Torres tentatively circles his...

We don't always talk enough about visual effects when we talk about the components that make up a great film or television series. Quality writing, acting, cinematography, and production design are essential and mutually complementary, of course. But the realm of VFX is equally crucial in the way that it simultaneously informs and is informed by those other disciplines, often constituting the key ingredient that allows a scene or a shot to accomplish its goal -- whether that goal is steeped in authenticity, scariness, wonder, tension, or surrealism.
In that sense, comparing the before and after of shots featuring computer generated imagery (CGI) and effects can be highly instructional. Thanks to the showcase reels released by many VFX studios and behind-the-scenes featurettes, it's possible to get a side-by-side glimpse at what several great TV shows look like prior to the addition of digital effects. The comparisons are sometimes amusing, sometimes revelatory,...

As a Trekkie, I need to get this off my chest right away: the Vulcan salute in the picture above is incorrect. Zoe Saldaña's thumb should be extended.
The above picture is from Steven Spielberg's 2004 film "The Terminal," a film inspired by the true story of Mehran Karimi Nasseri. The story goes that Nasseri, an Iranian citizen, was traveling from London to Brussels via Paris, but was waylaid in Paris when he lost his refugee passport. Unable to leave Terminal 1 of the Charles de Gaulle Airport, Nasseri simply stayed there. He lived in the airport from 1988 until a medical emergency in 2006.
In Spielberg's film, the Nasseri stand-in was a character named Viktor Navorski (Tom Hanks) a citizen of a fictional Eastern European country called Krakozhia. While Viktor was traveling, there was a violent coup in his home country and its very existence was thrown into question. He was...

Back in 2017, a portion of Ireland’s population was fighting for the Irish language to receive the same legal rights as Scottish and Welsh. At the same time, two young boys crossed paths with an Irish teacher who discovered their knack for writing hip-hop songs in the island’s native language. Risking it all, the trio banded together to form Kneecap, a hip-hop group that re-energised the fight for a new generation.
Not only is the above an apt synopsis of Kneecap, but it’s a description of true events. It might surprise its audience to learn that the leading men of the movie aren’t in fact actors — or even fictional characters — but real rappers reenacting the events that led to them becoming famous. Evan Rachel Wood Still Doesn’t Know ‘Westworld’ Ending After Cancellation: “It Keeps Me Up at Night”
Evan Rachel Wood knows about as much as fans when it comes to what Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan had up their sleeves for the final season of their hit HBO series — which is to say, she knows nothing at all.
Wood, who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter ahead of her New York stage debut as Audrey in the off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors, revealed during the sit-down that she had asked the Westworld creators about where the show was headed following the season four finale, “Que Sera Sera.” In it, humanity — and most sentient life — essentially ends after a season that saw the park androids seizing control, flipping the power scales to control humans the way hosts once were.

Given how often one of the lead characters in the rollicking Belfast-set comedy Kneecap flashes his bare bottom, adorned with the words “Brits Out,” “cheeky” is truly the best way to describe this film premiering in Sundance’s Next strand.
The gleefully irreverent feature offers an origin story for the real-life band of the title, whose members also play themselves with admirable naturalism. It’s a meet-cute success story about two working-class drug dealers — Naoise Ó Cairealláin, known onstage as Móglaí Bap, and Liam Óg Ó Hannaidh (aka Mo Chara) — who team up with a schoolteacher (JJ Ó Dochartaigh, or DJ Provaí, the one with the arse) to form a hip-hop group who rap mostly in Irish Gaelic. Writer-director Rich Peppiatt’s (doc One Rogue Reporter) exuberant sophomore feature blends truth with print-the-legend fiction. In its own sweet way, Kneecap is just like nearly every other music-focused rags-to-riches movie ever made.

“Kneecap” is the delightfully spiky story of an Irish-language hip hop act’s unlikely rise to fame. But it would be a lot better if it knew what to do with Michael Fassbender.
Despite its best efforts not to be, “Kneecap” is a film about conflict. The opening narration tells us that every film about Belfast is the same — cue grainy archive footage of cars exploding. This one, rapper and protagonist Naoise Ó Cairealláin says, will be different. In a “You Might Be Wondering How I Got Here”-style voiceover, he describes his baptism in a remote forest used by Catholics to practice their religion after it was banned in the Tudor conquest of Ireland. But his family happened upon an Ira training spot, and the light that symbolised Naoise’s entry to the family of God was actually a British chopper. As the priest, the baby, and his mother...

Jeremy Allen White accepted the award for best lead actor in a comedy series at the 2023 Emmy Awards on Sunday night, thanking “all those who have stayed close to me, especially in this past year.”
“I am so full of gratitude to be standing in front of you all,” White told the crowd. He won the Emmy for his performance as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in FX’s The Bear. Though the show released its second season in June 2023, the trophy recognizes his performance in season one, released 2022. The Bear‘s second season rolled out just after the Emmys eligibility deadline.

This post contains spoilers for "True Detective" season 1 and episode 1 of "True Detective: Night Country."
Since it aired back in 2014, the inaugural season of "True Detective" has become well-established as one of the finest seasons of TV ever created. Nic Pizzolatto's haunting crime thriller captivated audiences upon its arrival, and ten years later, despite being gifted two further seasons, fans still can't get over that first run of episodes. Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey delivered standout performances as detectives Marty Hart and Rustin Cohle, with McConaughey writing a 450-page character analysis in preparation. But the show also drew in audiences with its enchantingly bleak tone and a mystery so layered even Harrelson and McConaughey's detectives couldn't fully solve it.
But there was one crucial element to season one's lasting appeal and fans' desire to revisit the mystery at its core: cosmic horror. Throughout season 1, the show made expert use...

Spoiler Alert: This post contains spoilers for David Fincher’s “The Killer,” now streaming on Netflix.
The next few months will be stacked with conversations about the year’s best film performances, but we’d be remiss to let 2023 go dark without mentioning one of its most exciting turns: Kerry O’Malley in David Fincher’s “The Killer.”
A veteran working actress who has appeared on “1923,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and in features like the “Annabelle” franchise, O’Malley more than held her own alongside Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton in the unexpectedly funny tale of a contract killer gone haywire.
O’Malley stars as Dolores, an average-seeming New Orleans woman who serves as dutiful assistant to a lawyer (Charles Parnell), who also happens to dole out high-paid hit orders on the rich and powerful. Fassbender, a protégé of Parnell’s, has been betrayed and seeks revenge — but must first tangle with Dolores,...

David Fincher’s new film is definitely a sleek and captivating watch for those who are interested in the methodical and precise nature of all things Fincher. The subject matter isn’t something new, and the character study comes across like many films we’ve seen before, Drive or American Psycho being the first that comes to mind. The film is a stylized study of the days of a killer after something goes terribly wrong, leaving him to defend himself. Michael Fassbender stars in and as The Killer, and the Irish actor is a delight to watch. The film begins in Paris in the first chapter. The assassin awaits his target’s arrival and goes about his boring day as we hear his inner voice (in very Fincher style).

At least no one will get to the end of director David Fincher’s latest, The Killer, and feel in any way misled by the title. Or the film’s droll, on-the-nose tagline for that matter: “Execution is everything,” arguably the most Fincherian tagline ever, as a colleague pointed out.
Adapted by longtime Fincher collaborator Andrew Kevin Walker from a graphic novel written by Alexis Nolent (aka Matz) and illustrated by Luc Jacamon, this wry, efficient and very process-oriented crime thriller revolves around an unnamed assassin played by Michael Fassbender. Descended from a long line of cinematic guns for hire, he’s less ruthless than affectless, almost literally the shadow of a man. (As lit by Dp Erik Messerschmidt, his face constantly disappears into the dark under the brim of his cheap bucket hat.)
However, this killer is compelled to vary his usual routine when a hit in Paris goes wrong.

Los Angeles, Aug 7 (Ians) ‘The Bear’ star Jeremy Allen White appears to have moved on after his divorce from his childhood sweetheart, and was seen passionately kissing model Ashley Moore.
The actor, who plays chef Carmen Berzatto in ‘The Bear’, was married to actress Addison Timlin for just three years before she filed for divorce back in May, reports Mirror.co.uk. The pair are thought to have met when they were just teenagers and share two daughters together – Ezer, four, and Dolores, two.
It seems as though 32-year-old Jeremy has put all of that behind him, however, as he was spotted snogging and hugging Ashley, 30. The pair were seen in Los Angeles as they wrapped their arms around one another and locked lips.

Jeremy Allen White‘s on the prowl. Just over a week after sharing a Pda moment with his estranged wife, the actor has been spotted kissing and hugging an actress-model in Los Angeles.
TMZ obtained photos and video of the steamy moment. Jeremy, who portrays the award-winning chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto in Hulu’s “The Bear”, can be seen getting up close and personal with model-actress Ashley Moore. Jeremy’s seen wearing a polka dot shirt, baggy jeans, hat and white sneakers while she sports black tights and a cropped hoodie.
In one photo they both look downright serious while she holds her drink during their Saturday stroll. But she’s also seen smiling while they chit chat in a patio. Then, while on a sidewalk, he plants a wet one and gently holds her face. Moore, who is featured in Drake’s 2013 “Hold On We’re Going Home” music video,...

Picture this: It's the early 2000s, and you're a typical New Yorker living with the love of your life, who happens to run the block. You're stashing money in your cozy apartment and saving for that dream house in Jersey, but one fateful day, while alone at home, you get busted by the police during a simple cannabis transaction. The next 16 years of your life are spent behind bars because you steadfastly refused to snitch on your hustler soulmate, whose phone line has suddenly become unreachable.
Having lost over a decade of your life for a substance that can now be found at a local shop in your not-so-recognizable gentrified Washington Heights, you're desperately in need of a place to stay, a job, and answers as to why your no-good ex left you to rot. Then you stumble across an old but charmingly unconventional neighbor, the owner of the only...

Much like her namesake, it seems Dolores Roach can survive under even the harshest conditions.
In The Horror of Dolores Roach Season 1 finale, it feels like Dolores’ (Justina Machado) luck might be running out. To quickly recap, so far she has murdered: the landlord’s son and the landlord himself, Jeremiah, a couple of neighborhood drug dealers, a local laundromat operator, a private investigator and maybe her sidekick Luis (Alejandro Hernandez).

This article contains spoilers for The Horror of Dolores Roach season 1.
The Horror of Dolores Roach season 1 dropped Friday, July 7 on Prime Video, telling the story of a masseuse who kills her clients and disposes of the bodies by selling them as empanadas. Those of you who have seen it (Spoilers!) may have thought the story was over when Dolores finally found her way to an address she had been told belonged to her ex-boyfriend, with the episode cutting to black as she leaps in to strangle whoever answers the door. But according to Aaron Mark, the show’s creator (and the writer of the podcast and stage play the TV series is based on), there is still a great deal more to tell.
Of course, viewers who can’t wait to see what Dolores Roach does next have the option of checking out season two of the original podcast,...

Cyndi Lauper has shared her new track “Oh, Dolores,” made for the new Prime Video series The Horror of Dolores Roach. Listen to it below.
The new single coincides with the series debut, in which Lauper makes a special guest appearance. “Oh, Dolores” sounds like it could’ve been a deep cut in her discography, blending exciting, scrappy punk with the bassy groove of new wave. Lyrically, the song serves as a foreboding message to the series’ main character: “Oh Dolores, you’ve come undone/ It happens every time, now isn’t it a crime?/ How they drag you down, Dolores,” Lauper sings.
The Horror of Dolores Roach is based on the hit Spotify fiction podcast of the same name, created and written by Aaron Mark. The first season focuses on Dolores, a woman who effectively starts her life over after having just been released from a 16-year prison sentence.
