The likes of Bridgerton, Heartstopper an The Dig will be digitally preserved and shown to people for generations to come. A number of broadcasters and studios already have their projects preserved in the archive. The move comes as Netflix celebrates its 10th anniversary in the UK. Creative Industries Minister Julia Lopez visited the archive lsat week and praised how Netflix is “beginning to work with the BFI to protect content being made for digital channels.” Anna Mallett, Netflix Vice President, Production, Emea, UK and Apac, called the moment “historical.”

Johnny Strange was known to be a daredevil, but one adventure went horribly wrong. E! News has learned that the young three-time world record holding adventurer has died at the age of 23 from a wingsuiting accident. Multiple sources connected to Strange tell TMZ, who first reported the story, that Johnny was in Switzerland and something went wrong with his jump. No other details on the accident are known. Johnny Strange, a world-record holding adventurer, died on Thursday, Oct. 1, in a wingsuiting accident, TMZ reports. The daredevil was only 23. Strange, who became famous at age 17 for being the youngest person to ever climb all seven of the world’s highest peaks, was wingsuiting in Switzerland when something went wrong during his jump, according to the site.
