Pinterest has formally launched an in-house incubator for experimental products called TwoTwenty -- a nod to the address of its first offices at 220 California Ave. in Palo Alto.
TwoTwenty, comprising engineers, designers, and content and product staffers, will develop products as culled from employee submissions -- via an internal ideas portal and from hackathon events. Once developed, these ideas will be handed off to other teams within the company for scaling, Techcrunch reports. The team plans to have one or two projects going concurrently.
TwoTwenty’s first project before its formal announcement was the conception of live, creator-hosted video streams, which later evolved to become Pinterest TV, per Techcrunch. Pinterest TV comprises recurring, influencer-fronted series from the likes of Manny Mua and QVC-like live streams, both of which formats are shoppable.

Following the success of the first season of Break The Ice-- which featured appearances from fellow YouTube stars like Manny Mua, Todrick Hall, and Molly Burke, and which garnered roughly 3.5 million views across all platforms -- Rippon has nabbed a sponsor for the show's sophomore outing: none other than luxe vodka brand Ketel One.
Season two, which will run from Oct. 30 to Dec. 18, comprises eight ten-minute episodes with appearances from: Queer Eye's Bobby Berk, Zach Villa of American Horror Story fame, Glow’s Jackie Tohn, YouTube duo Superfruit, musician Betty Who, YouTube sexologoist Shannon Boodram, and fellow figure skater (and Dancing With The Stars alum) Meryl Davis. Another day, another scandal. The beauty community is once again embroiled in drama, but this time Jackie Aina is the one making headlines. It all started when fellow artist Patrick Starrr promoted Jackie's new palette, which was made in collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills, in a video made in the "traptorial" style. But this is where things get complicated. Patrick and another artist, Manny Mua, were accused of copying the "traptorial" style that vlogger Chelsie Worthy is known for. While imitating a vlogger is commonplace in the community, it's expected that credit will be given where it's due. But both Patrick and Manny failed to mention Chelsie a.k.a....

For those of you unfamiliar with the world of YouTube celebrities, Tana Mongeau is the definition of A-list. Amassing over 3 million subscribers on the video platform alone, the 20-year-old Las Vegas native has built a career on being a foul-mouthed (in the best way), relatable girl. Her content ranges from "storytimes" about getting arrested to half-naked "makeup tutorials," and somehow, someway, her fan base continues to grow like weeds. So much so, that Tana was able to draw in a large enough crowd for her very own YouTuber convention. A post shared by tanamongeau (@tanamongeau) on Jun 24, 2018 at 8:59pm Pdt From Playlist Live to VidCon, YouTuber conventions have become all the rage among the younger generation. Trouble is, they are often overcrowded, understaffed, and absurdly expensive. After Tana herself had a horrible experience at VidCon 2017, she decided to take a stand — thus TanaCon was born. Within a very short period of time,...

Fans of Trisha Paytas got to see the painful effects of fat-shaming first hand on June 21, and it's completely devastating. The blonde bombshell YouTuber revealed that she and her boyfriend of almost a year Jason Nash broke up, and the reason why is just crushing. Trisha shared a video to her channel called "we broke up because I'm too fat," and it's hard to watch her tearful breakdown. "This isn't on him it really is on me because it's something I can't get past," she began, tears welling in her eyes. "He made a remark, he said it was a joke, but he said 'yeah me and Trisha are both fat.' I know that doesn't seem like a big deal, this is something I really can't let go. I get a lot of fat comments, and it sucks and everyone knows my insecurity especially Jason. I'm so sensitive about my weight,...

Amassing 25.1 million followers on Instagram alone, Lele Pons far supersedes the fame and fortune of your ~typical~ social media star. In fact, one could argue that her brand of recognizability is on par with actual A-list celebrities. With that, of course, comes a lot of scrutiny. Being that Lele is only 21 years old, she faces the same backlash over her appearance as say, Kylie Jenner or Bella Hadid. Fans are constantly questioning whether her transformation is a result of puberty or plastic surgery. As it turns out, when it comes to Lele’s looks, it’s a little bit of both! Being known mostly for her outlandish pranks and comedy videos, Lele is nothing if not open with her fans. Earlier this year, in a photo that has since been deleted, she opened up about having undergone cosmetic surgery. "A year and a half ago I decided to do something...
