Rebecka Liljeberg was born in Nykvarn, Sweden May 13 to an 18 year old mother Kristina, and a 24 year old father, Jyrki. She is half Finnish and half Swedish. They moved around a lot, and Rebecka left home at the age of 15 to work in Stockholm. She has two sisters, Claudia born 1988, and Åse born 1993, and one brother, Samuel, born 1992. Jan Guillou is arguably the best-known writer and journalist in Sweden. He wrote 10 books about Swedish agent Hamilton, and a follow up to the Hamilton series, called Hamlon, in a very limited edition. But his best book is "Ondskan", which he wrote in 1981. It is about a young man called Erik. It's a self biography, Erik is Jan. Jan Guillou was in a Swedish prison for 10 months in the 70s. Director Göran Carmback was born in Södertälje, a city south of Stockholm. His father worked as a projectionist and Göran became interested in films when he was very young. After having left school he too started out as a projectionist, at Nordisk Tonefilm, and at the same he also began working as a sound balancer. He soon became one of the most skilled sound balancers in Sweden, participating at the making of more than forty Swedish films, working together with, among others Bo Widerberg "All Things Fair" and Lasse Hallström "My Life as a Dog". Göran continued to work as a sound balancer until 1988.
His dream was to become a producer, though, and he got the opportunity to make the dream come through when Svensk Filmindustri (SF) asked him to be the director of a series of films for children. So, in 1988 Göran Carmback directed two stories by Astrid Lindgren: "My very own sister" and "There are no robbers in the forrest" and in 1996 he directed the feature film "The Master Detective lives dangerously" (Kalle Blomkvist- Mästerdetektiven lever farligt).
