Became very popular as a member of the singing group Cuarteto Ruffino (aka Los Ruffino) with his mother Mercedes Ruffino, his father Ignacio Ruffino and his sister Julie Ruffino. The quartet recorded many songs that became hits in the 1950s and 1960s and were featured singing in films as guest stars. They were also very successful acting in a series of La familia Ruffino (The Ruffino Family) musical films written and produced especially for them.
