- A couple walks out of a fancy restaurant to their car. They are attacked and killed. When the team arrives on the scene, the only eye-witness is a young man who stayed behind to give his statements. Catherine investigates the collapse of an apartment building which resulted in the death of three elderly people.
- When a Hummer in the wrong way runs over an old Fiero, Grissom meets Capt. Brass to investigate the scene. He learns that the Hummer's driver has fled and the Fiero's driver is alive in the hospital. At a car convention, when the host Mr. Daluca opens the curtains to show the latest RV model to the audience, there is a dead woman. Warrick and Det. Louis Vartann learn that the victim is the twenty-nine-year-old model Lisa Schumacher. Dr. Robbins tells Catherine that Lisa was asphyxiated and she had sex before her death. Daluca becomes their prime suspect. Meanwhile, the model Gwen that is working at the convention, goes to the house of her personal trainer Paul Charles to workout and sees him dead through the window. Greg and Sara investigate the crime scene while Dr. Robbins carries out the autopsy. When he sees a black substance in his eye, Hazmat takes Sara and Greg to the decontamination shower. When the body of a boy is found on a bus stop bench covered by a blanket in front of a laundromat, Nick investigates the case. Dr. Robbins tells Nick that the cause of death was asphyxia from heat damage. They identify the victim is Chase Ryan and Nick tries to understand what might have happened to the boy.

Stokes looks into the death of Stacy Warner who is found in the middle of the desert but is determined to have drowned. She was a an extreme sports enthusiast out on a challenging trek but she seemed ill-prepared for the route she took.

Painstaking identification efforts lead to ex-con serial killer Tammy Felton and accomplices, but one by one is found murdered themselves. The solution comes only after links are found with the bizarre shooting of a desert hamlet's only store's clerk, discovered by state trooper William Spencer, who messed up the crime scene despite long experience.
- When a man is found dead in his bathtub with a tape recorder telling that he has committed suicide, the CSI team recalls the case of Royce Harmon that was not well resolved. Grisson, Catherine and Sara investigate the case that becomes more complicated when Grisson's fingerprint is found in the scene crime. Meanwhile, Warrick and Nick investigate the case of a man that was found buckled in the back seat of his car in a dam in coma and they bet whether it was a robbery or there was a phantom driver that stole the victim.
- Several couples are killed bloodily after a wild party night in the same luxury hotel with Cameron and Mandy Klinefeld, or rather one somehow forced to kill the spouse. Nick is pleased to bump into former college mate Kenny Richmond, who works there, until it seems buddy boy passed confidential information to the press, which could get Nick fired.
- There is a fire in a house and Catherine, Nick, Warrick arrive at the scene. An arson investigator tells them that there was a fire in the block ten days ago, maybe caused by a serial arsonist. The Abernathy family is rescued, but the daughter Sabrina that was not supposed to be at home is found dead. They begin their investigation looking for the origin of the fire and for suspects. Meanwhile, Grissom, Sara and Capt. Brass investigate the death of a man found dead in a hotel bathroom. In the autopsy, Dr. Robins finds a round tile with the letter in his throat, and five more tiles in his stomach. Brass identifies the victim and Adam Brenner from Florida that was in Las Vegas to participate in a logo game tournament. Soon Grissom learns that Adam was a top player and Grissom looks for opponents defeated by Adams that might be angry.
- 2000–201544mTV-148.0 (807)TV EpisodeA strong and tall man follows another man in the casino to the parking lot. Soon the CSI team comes to the casino to investigate the murder of the man, Tony Sciarra, who was brutally beaten. They watch the tape of the surveillance cameras and see a shorter man stealing Tony's chips and being followed by him. When they identify the killer, Walter Darian, they arrest him; however, the guy attacks Grissom first in the interrogation room and then the guards that try to subdue him. Out of the blue, Walter is dead. Now, they investigate his belongings since he was an accumulator and find evidence that may lead them to another murder case.
- Catherine, Warrick and Nick investigate a shotgun killing in the desert. What they come across however is a beaver dam full of money. When they subsequently learn that the victim worked at setting the spread for sports betting, they think he may have a betting scam of some sort. Grissom, Sara and Greg investigate a death in a hotel where someone is found suffocated in his bed. He was staying in a hotel hosting a convention for overweight people and was quite popular with the ladies.
- When a woman dies on her staircase, the team uncovers marital infidelity and an even bigger secret during their investigation.
- The team is called to a suburban house where the whole family, except the two daughters, have been murdered with no apparent motive.
- A taxi driver accidentally runs over a teenage boy. He is later brutally beaten by a gang who thinks he is running away. Grissom and Sara works on the case and finds that the boy was dead prior to being hit from a stab wound.
- When Linley Parker survives a rape attack, the CSI team investigates the case. Linley identify her aggressor Dr. Todd Coombs, but their DNA do not match and Todd is released despite the identification. His brothers become the suspects based on the DNA results, but they do not find the guilty. When Linley is murdered, the CSI team discovers new genetic condition in the case.

The school authorities couldn't help, but his sassy sister expected her lover, the coach, to pull Barry in line. Destitute veteran Lt. William "Moses" Cartson's corpse is found dumped in a woodland. He was considered a bothersome beggar, especially by a bouncer.
- A body is found in the body farm. He died from what looks like a bullet wound, yet Dr. Robbins and Grissom can't find any bullet fragments. Instead, they found bits of ground beef inside the wound track. The team links this death to an arson case. The investigation takes a turn when the 12-year-old daughter of the deceased's fiancée has been a victim of sexual assault for some time. Back at the lab, Sara asks for a 6-month leave, citing that she doesn't feel at ease at work with her co-workers, especially with her boss, Grissom.
