The Doctor Who Christmas special is back! On December 25 2023, the Fifteenth Doctor’s first big adventure will arrive, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, and Millie Gibson as new companion Ruby Sunday. TV presenter Davina McCall will play herself in the episode, solving the long-teased mystery of which 2005 guest star would be returning (McCall voiced the Davinadroid in series one’s “Bad Wolf”).
The BBC announces in the official plot synopsis that in “The Church on Ruby Road” the Doctor will face “mythical and mysterious goblins”:
“Long ago on Christmas Eve, a baby was abandoned in the snow. Today, Ruby Sunday meets the Doctor, stolen babies, goblins and perhaps the secret of her birth.
Little is known about Ruby Sunday as she was abandoned on Christmas Eve as a baby. Now living with her mum, Carla and grandmother, Cherry her world is about to be turned upside when she...

Deborah Reed didn’t have many screen acting credits to her name, but she made enough of an impression in her screen debut to gather a legion of fans: she played Creedence Leonore Gielgud in the (in)famous 1990 film Troll 2 (watch it Here), which has been described as one of the best worst movies ever made. Sadly, we have to share the news today that Reed passed away earlier this month at the age of 73.
Born on October 29, 1950, she passed away peacefully at her home on November 18, 2023. Her obituary notes, “She was surrounded by her loving children at the time of passing.”
Here’s more information on Reed’s life, from the obituary shared on RussonMortuary.com: “She was born to Leo Hansen and Barbara Groo on October 29th, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah. At five years old she moved with her family from Utah to Lafayette, California. At...

They say that on quiet nights you can hear the chants coming from small Norwegian villages, "More 'Troll,' more 'Troll,' More 'Troll!'" Indeed, fans of the Norwegian straight-to-Netflix creature feature "Troll" have been famished for more troll-on-human violence since the film's release in 2022.
Directed by Roar Uthaug, the accomplished filmmaker behind high-intensity spectacles such as "The Wave" and 2018's "Tomb Raider" reboot, "Troll" was something of a surprise hit on the streaming platform. Back in December of 2022, "Troll" scored the second spot on Netflix's coveted Top 10 Most Watched list, right behind the smash hit series "Wednesday." For a foreign film dropped on the platform with little to no marketing, that's majorly impressive. Even moreso: "Troll" went on to become Netflix's most-watched non-English film of all time.
The critical reception of "Troll" was mixed, but fairly positive. The Los Angeles Times' Noel Murray wrote that "it's no...

Traditionally the best horror films have been rated R to provide fans with the appropriate blood, guts and chills required to give a proper scare, but every so often one comes along that the MPAA doesn’t think warrants such a harsh rating yet still gives that blood curdling, spine tingling spook fest you would want from a horror movie of any rating. With the massive success of Five Night’s at Freddy’s, we wanted to know what PG13 rated Horror film has been your favorite. If you don’t see your favorite listed, click other and let us know in the comments what it is (and why)

A new episode of the Awfully Good Horror Movies video series has just been released, and in this one we’re taking a look at a movie that has the reputation of being one of the worst movies ever made. Actually, it’s widely considered to be the best worst movie ever made. It’s 1990’s Troll 2 (watch it Here), and you can hear all about it by watching the video embedded above!
Written and directed by Claudio Fragasso (going by the name Drake Floyd), Troll 2 has the following synopsis: When young Joshua learns that he will be going on vacation with his family to a small town called Nilbog, he protests adamantly. He is warned by the spirit of his deceased grandfather that goblins populate the town. His parents, Michael and Diana, dismiss his apprehensions, but soon learn to appreciate their son’s warnings. Directed by Roar Uthaug, the Norwegian creature feature Troll was released through the Netflix streaming service last December – and it performed so well for the streamer, Variety reports that Netflix has now ordered a sequel! Troll 2 will see Uthaug reteaming with writer Espen Aukan and producers Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud of Motion Blur.
We don’t have any plot information for Troll 2 just yet, but Troll had the following synopsis: Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years. Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?
It’s interesting to note that, while several of Uthaug’s movies have received sequels, he hasn’t directed any of them. The Cold Prey follow-ups, the sequel to his fantasy film Magic Silver,...

A Norwegian monster movie from Roar Uthaug (The Wave, Tomb Raider), Netflix’s Troll debuted on the streaming service last December, and a sequel is coming soon.
Variety reports this afternoon, “Troll 2 reteams Uthaug with writer Espen Aukan and producers Espen Horn and Kristian Strand Sinkerud at Motion Blur.”
The upcoming sequel will shoot sometime next year.
In Troll, “When an ancient troll is awakened in a Norwegian mountain, a rag-tag group of heroes must come together to try and stop it from wreaking deadly havoc.”
Marie Wilmann, Kim Falck, Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, and Gard Eidsvold star in the first film.
Meagan Navarro wrote in her review of Troll for Bloody Disgusting, “While light on narrative, it’s when Cold Prey director Roar Uthaug embraces its monster that Troll reveals its magic.”
“It’s fun enough and does deliver on spectacle, but most of all, it leaves you rooting for its magnificent creature,...

It seems like people will become nostalgic for anything over a long enough period of time. Don’t believe me? Well, then how else do you explain Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore: a spiritual successor to the worst Legend of Zelda games ever?
Arzette: The Jewel of Faramor is an action-platformer that sees players control Arzette on her journey to save the Kingdom of Faramore. While Arzette‘s core gameplay looks fairly standard for the genre, the title’s visuals and voice acting certainly stand out. If those aspects of the game strike you as being slightly…off, that’s because they are. In fact, those “off” elements of the game are actually a tribute to the infamous Phillips CD-i titles Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon.

Welcome to Camp Nightmare, where we're about to embark on a wild adventure through the wacky world of campy horror movies. The moon casts an eerie glow on the haunted cabins, and the rustling leaves whisper tales of horror. Gather 'round the campfire, fellow thrill-seekers, as we invite you into the twisted world of camp. Not summer camp, but camp camp. These delectably cheesy flicks have achieved legendary status, eliciting uproarious laughter and spine-tingling cringes in equal measure.
Before we delve into the world of campy horror movies though, we should probably answer the question: What is camp? It's the B-movie that's loud and proud. The intentionally over-the-top horror movie that winks at the audience, saying, “Sure, we might be cheesy and predictable, but isn't that part of the bloody charm?” Camp is a whirlwind of blood-splattered delight, where rubber monsters and questionable dialogue collide in a gleeful explosion of entertainment.

Welcome to the Ghostface Glossary, a guide to every horror reference and nod throughout the first five films of the Scream franchise.
After a lot of pausing, rewinding, and zooming in, as well as researching, we’re catching all of the many horror-specific references Williamson, Craven, and Co. included in this beloved postmodern slasher franchise. If we’ve forgotten any glaring ones, kindly let us know.
This guide will exclude homages from previous Scream films and their respective sequels— we’re only looking at outside horror franchises and inspirations, because any red-blooded Ghostface fan is likely already aware of those. (Goes without saying that the beloved faux franchise ‘Stab’(s) 1-8 will also not be counted, since, even though our neon green ‘Stab’ t-shirts and mock VHS tapes feel very real, it’s still a very fake franchise). If we’ve forgotten any glaring ones, kindly let us know.

Aptly named for the acidic smell of deteriorating film, Vinegar Syndrome made an auspicious debut in 2013 with its inaugural release, The Lost Films of Herschell Gordon Lewis. In the decade since, they have unearthed, restored, and distributed hundreds of cult, exploitation, horror, action, and adult films.
Popping in a new Vinegar Syndrome disc is a bit like cinematic Russian roulette. It’s always interesting, but you never know if you’re going to get an obscure masterpiece, a campy B-movie, a so-bad-it’s-good slice of fun, or a dud. The unknown is half the fun, and discovering those diamonds in the rough makes it worthwhile.
In celebration of their anniversary, I’m highlighting 10 hidden gems from Vinegar Syndrome’s first 10 years.
To narrow the choices, I’m ignoring the heavy hitters like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2 and The Amityville Horror, box sets like Forgotten Gialli and Home Grown Horrors,...

While we generally like to think that human beings have catalogued most of the animal kingdom, the fact is that there are still plenty of biological mysteries to uncover. After all, gorillas were only recognized by science in the 1850s, and don’t even get me started on the extinction-dodging coelacanth. That’s why cryptozoology is such a fascinating subject, with amateur zoologists insisting that there’s still a little bit of magic left in the world.

Activision Blizzard is currently under investigation following accusations of harassment, discrimination, and fostering a hostile work environment. You can read more about the investigation here.
World of Warcraft was released in 2004. That’s almost 20 years’ worth of memories, loot, and expansions. Currently, the game features eight expansions full of new classes, races, and content (of varying quality), and that number will jump to nine sooner than you think.
Earlier this year, Blizzard announced World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. That upcoming expansion will give players a new location in the form of the Dragon Isles, a new dragon-themed race and class, and new dragon mounts. Everything is either draconic or made of dragons in Dragonflight, and while the expansion won’t land until November 28, gamers won’t have to wait until after Turkey Day to start experiencing the expansion’s content firsthand.

While the 1970s and 1980s were strong decades for independent horror filmmaking, the 1990s proved to be a somewhat interesting time, as there seemed to be an overall tendency for this realm of the industry to be focused on making sequels and creating franchises out of ’80s horror hits, with a few landmark indie horror projects in the mix as well. And since sequels were so dominant at that time, I thought it only made sense for us to start there for this look back on the history of ’90s indie horror cinema.
After the 1980s proved to be a great time for indie horror, where so many movies ended up being successful due to a combination of theatrical releases and the increasing popularity of home video, it feels like in the decade that followed, many producers working in the independent realm wanted to capitalize on those successes by turning...

As the Hollywood blockbuster machine continues to dust itself off and release some early winter hits, Hulu is going in a bit of a different direction with its list of new releases for November 2021.
There are no big Hulu original films of note this month. Instead there’s a whole host of original series. The TV parade starts on Nov. 5 with the release of Animaniacs season 2. Also getting a second season this month is monarchal comedy The Great on Nov. 19. The most intriguing series, however, is animated Marvel comedy Marvel’s Hit Monkey. As its name so graciously implies, this is a show about a hit monkey…as in monkey assassin. Naturally the hit monkey is haunted by the ghost of Jason Sudeikis because it’s important that everything make sense.
Though Hulu doesn’t have any original movies in November, its list of library movie titles is quite vast.

Hello, dear readers! To paraphrase a popular movie, “We’re in the Endgame now,” as Halloween is now merely only a few days away. If you’re looking for some last-minute viewing ideas to get you to the spooky season finish line, we definitely have a great array of choices heading home on Tuesday. The biggest recommendation that I can personally make in regard to perfect Halloween movie experiences is the Wnuf Halloween Special, which is getting a killer Blu-ray release tomorrow. Arrow Films is giving Dario Argento’s Deep Red a 4K upgrade this week, too, and Severin Films is showing love to both An Angel for Satan and Beyond Darkness.
Other releases for October 26th include Don’t Breathe 2, The Amazing Mr. X, Boardinghouse, Eye of the Devil, Skull: The Mask, Frankenstein’s Daughter, and Underworld: Limited Edition 5-Movie Collection.

There just aren't enough movies these days about man-sized sentient pus monsters, and that's a shame. Set in the early '60s, Tyler Russell's Cyst is a throwback creature feature that embraces the goofiness of the era's drive-in fare with a knowing wink and a great deal of love. Dermatologist Dr. Guy, played to the hilt by Troll 2's George Hardy, is a proto Dr. Pimple Popper, who seems to spend his entire day surgically draining various enormous cysts, which seems to always result in huge geysers of pus flying around his office. Unfortunately for his nurse, Patricia (Eva Haberman), it seems that the vast majority of this bodily waste appears to end up showering her in disgusting goo. But Dr. Guy has big dreams, an...

Maria Bamford, Bobcat Goldthwait, Bob Odenkirk lead reading of Ed Wood’s movie as part of TCM Classic Film Festival Friday
A flying saucer? You mean… from up there? Yes! Flying saucers were seen circling Hollywood Blvd. as a group of stars gathered for a table read of “Plan 9 From Outer Space,” Ed Wood’s cult film that has been dubbed one of the worst movies of all time.
It’s all part of the TCM Classic Film Festival, for which comedians like Maria Bamford, Bob Odenkirk and Bobcat Goldthwait will read aloud the script to the maligned masterpiece. TheWrap obtained an exclusive clip from what is sure to be the silly shlockfest ahead of its premiere on Friday, May 7.
The above clip shows comedians Laraine Newman, Dana Gould and Kat Aagesen setting up the impending alien attack and resurrection of the dead, complete with an eerie and canny theremin in the score.

From Ghostbusters to Flash Gordon to Troll 2, viewers are giving adulatory treatment to a growing heap of their film favourites. But can this nostalgia boom survive?
Documentaries about film-making used to fall into one of two categories. Either they were studio-approved puff pieces, typically found among DVD extras, or stranger-than-fiction accounts of productions spinning out of control: more breaking of than making of.
Today there is a middle ground where fans take care of the celebratory side, and movies don’t need to have suffered a painful birth to be worthy of attention. This new crop has been made possible by cheaper technology, as well as crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter and Indiegogo. The rise of streaming platforms and the decline of physical media, which is where such films previously found a natural home, hasn’t hurt, either.

The more we hear about it, the more ambitious Spider-Man 3 becomes. So far, we know that the threequel will feature at least two legacy villains – Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock – which likely means that more familiar faces from the web-slinger’s cinematic history are on the way. It’s generally thought that Marvel/Sony could be gathering together a kind of multiversal Sinister Six, but hey, why stop at just six?
On top of talk that Kraven, Mysterio, Sandman, Vulture and more are appearing in the movie, a new rumor suggests that three – yes, not one or two, but three – Goblins could turn up to plague Peter Parker as well, and probably his doppelgängers from other worlds, too. These three Goblins are Willem Dafoe’s Norman Osborn from the Sam Raimi trilogy, Dane DeHaan’s Harry Osborn from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and – spoiler...

Fans of wonderfully wooden trash, look no further. Tyler Russell’s vintage monster movie throwback is a total blast of blood, puss, and ominously oozy bodily fluids. A loud, brash, B-movie love letter, it’s the sort of geniusly crap genre fare that caters to a very specific audience, and does so in the least pretentious, most affectionate way imaginable. Expect stupid, get stupider, and love it all the same.
Mimicking the 50s/60s drive-in charm, Cyst goes all-in on its title right from the off. Maniacal skin specialist Dr. Guy (Troll 2’s George Hardy) loses control of his dastardly pimple-erasing machine, accidentally creating a giant cyst monster that lays waste to his entire surgery, and everyone in it. Shudder’s upcoming Scare Package is a love-letter to genre obsessions inked in blood by horror-loving filmmakers. Any anthology comes with ups and downs, but thankfully the “ups” here swing bigger than expected. Seven directors submit a collection of meta-spoofy spooks which share a collective heart that is forever in the right place. The bigger the horror fan, the harder the jokes land as recognizable structures or archetypes are roasted over an open flame. Sometimes to a charred, smokey Texas flavor that is worth drool-dribble reactions, other times overdone and burned to a bitter aftertaste that’s easier to forget.
So, let’s talk “package.”
Together, shorts double as old-school bites of horror nostalgia that populate a VHS rental joint owned by the film’s Randy Meeks replicant. As a new employee learns the ropes, titles are “explained” by either “Rad” Chad (Jeremy King), regular horror-bro customer Sam (Byron Brown...

If the latest rumors regarding Capcom’s future plans are to be believed, the developer is planning to go all-in on Resident Evil for the foreseeable future.
Following on from a series of major leaks claiming to out various gameplay and story elements for an eighth installment, it now appears as if Resident Evil 4 – often considered to be one of the greatest games ever made – is on course to receive the remake treatment. We heard as much via our own sources last week, of course, though further details – including those which claim developers of this year’s Resident Evil 3, M-Two, are in charge of the project – have emerged since.
Good news for lovers of the long-running zombie franchise, then, though some are growing increasingly tired of the perceived notion that Capcom is playing favourites. Dino Crisis, for example, has consistently ranked top of many lists as far as most-wanted remakes go,...

Happy Friday, everyone! With the weekend upon us, I thought for this edition of “From Streams to Screams,” I’d put together a real mind-bender of a list for you, where all 29 films dabble in some form of WTFery. Whether its delivering up full-blown cinematic chaos, or characters (and/or the movies themselves) going completely off the rails, and even a few stories that will leaving you scratching your head at the end, without a doubt, these bizarrely entertaining but utterly charming films will keep your mind warped for years to come.

Bill is worried that he is "different" from his sister and parents. They mix with other "upper class" people, while Bill is more down to earth. Even his girlfriend seems a bit odd. All is revealed when Bill returns home to find a party in full swing. Not for the weak of stomach.

Consider the oeuvre of Clyde Anderson, or as he’s known in the real world, Claudio Fragasso: Monster Dog. Beyond Darkness. Troll 2, fer chrissakes. Now imagine a slasher/psychological thriller with one foot on Elm Street, one in a Skinemax extravaganza, and no ties to reality and you have Night Killer (1990), Fragasso’s opus on memory loss and murder. And if you guessed that Severin Films has a brand spanking new Blu-ray out to document this insanity, you’d be right.
Originally released in Italy in August, Night Killer was sold as Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 in the grand Italian tradition, although it has nothing whatsoever to do with that franchise (in the same grand tradition). What it does offer is a mixture of misdirection, insanity, bloodshed, and expected sleaziness. What it does not proffer is boredom.
How could it when it opens during a dance rehearsal in which...

Welcome to Let’s All Scare Bryan to Death, my new column based on the idea that there are a lot of horror movies in the world, and I haven’t seen a lot of them. I’m going to work on changing that with the help of people who love horror and are smarter than me (re: everyone) by getting them to introduce me to a movie I’ve never seen before. That’s literally the only criteria. We’ll talk about the movie and see what kind of fun stuff we can pull out of it.
For my first installment, I decided to jump right into the deep end with Andrea Subissati, who you may know as the Executive Editor at Rue Morgue Magazine, one half of the Faculty of Horror podcast, and simply one of the most intelligent voices in horror today. Her selection for this most...

What the f... yes, it's true. The alternate ending of Mac and Me was dark as hell.
1988's E.T. rip-off Mac And Me may have been lost to the ages somewhat if it weren't for Paul Rudd. The Ant-Man star has been playing the same prank on most of his Conan appearances ever since he popped up as Phoebe's piano playing boyfriend, Mike, in Friends. If you haven't seen one of Rudd's interviews on the talk show, the actor often answers a few fun questions before introducing an "exclusive" preview of his new project, only to present the exact same clip from Mac And Me over and over again. Said clip shows one of the main characters from the film going over a cliff in a wheelchair.
Apart from these regular Rudd ribs, Mac And Me only tends to be referenced as a product placement-stuffed 80s cash-in,...

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers is actually the first movie in the Sleepaway Camp franchise that I’d ever seen. The VHS cover art lured me in as a kid by teasing possible appearances from iconic villains, with Freddy’s glove and Jason’s hockey mask poking out of a woman’s backpack. I was a bit too young to understand the concept of trademarks at that age, so you can imagine my disappointment when neither character made so much as a cameo. Since I hadn’t seen the first film and didn’t have any context for the franchise as a whole (or that twist), I just thought of the movie as low-budget trash.
As I’ve grown older, however, I’ve discovered that low-budget trash can be a lovely thing. And I think it’s important to distinguish trash from “so bad they’re good” movies like Troll 2...

When it comes to the pantheon of great Wtf horror movies of the 1980s, Howard R. Cohen’s Saturday the 14th Strikes Back ranks right up with classic gems like Troll 2, Blood Diner or Spookies, and is probably a film that most genre fans haven’t heard about, let alone have watched either. And yeah, I’m not going to try and sell you on ST14SB as this grand masterpiece – it isn’t – but it is definitely something I would say fans of oddball cinema should experience at least once in their lifetime. It may have more than a few rough edges, but there’s so much genre love coursing through Saturday the 14th Strikes Back’s schlocky veins, that I can’t help but admire its total disregard for cinematic rules, and just delivering up a full-blown monster mash that is a ridiculous amount of nonsensical fun.

If you have even a passing acquaintance with Italian horror, the odds are pretty good that you’ve come across the work of Claudio Fragasso. Like many Italian auteurs, he’s gone by many names; perhaps you know him as Clyde Anderson, director of the Alice Cooper werewolf tale Monster Dog (1984), or Drake Floyd, helmer of the legendary Troll 2 (1990). There’s also his work as a writer on fellow Italian Bruno Mattei’s The Other Hell (’81) and Rats: Night of Terror (’84). But if you’ve been following Severin Films as of late (and for shame if you haven’t), Fragasso has his hands all over their latest trio of Blu-ray releases: Shocking Dark (’89), Zombi 3 (’88), and the one where he slips into the director’s chair again, Zombie 4: After Death (’89), a film light on imagination yet heavy on high octane zombie mowdowns.

Severin Films do a great service for those of us who aren’t as familiar with the “second tier” Italian horror filmmakers like Bruno Mattei. I just haven’t seen much of his work, but of what I have, The Other Hell (1981) is my favorite. I should say it’s my favorite film of his that borrows from Carrie and The Exorcist; apparently I need to start a new list of faves that are influenced by Aliens and The Terminator, starting with Shocking Dark (1989), a jaw-dropping mush of both that manages to entertain almost as much as either.
Aka Terminator II in certain markets, the term “rip-off” was pretty much perfected by Shocking Dark; but this was neither Mattei or co-screenwriters Claudio Fragasso and Rossella Drudi (Troll 2) fault, but rather producers eager to jump on Cameron’s bandwagon and hijack it before it reached the next station. Nunsploitation is definitely not a strong suit of mine; going through a list to see which ones I’ve viewed has left me feeling ashamed and repentant. So after three Hail Mary’s and four Our Father’s I knelt down and witnessed The Other Hell (1981), Italian grimemaster Bruno Mattei’s take on fervid religiosity, rabid dogs, satanic offspring, and enough Catholic iconography to set a priest on fire. Which is a thing that also happens.
Released in Italy in late January and rolled out around the world throughout the year (North America would have to wait until ’85), The Other Hell is pretty much what I’ve grown to love about Italian horror of the ‘70s and ‘80s – outlandish characters, loopy plotting and jaw dropping moments – but is so far and above what I’ve seen of Mattei’s other work that it gives me a nosebleed.

“We made a movie about the worst movie and it might be our best movie,” Tweeted Seth Rogan earlier this week. He was referring to The Disaster Artist, a James Franco-Directed retelling of how one of the best-worst-movies ever came to be and the pair’s latest project. Franco’s film chronicles the creation of Tommy Wiseau’s bizarre passion project The Room, a now-infamous cult-favourite that has been celebrated in cult circles since its 2003 release. Never heard of it? You’re missing out – but in the meantime, here’s a whistle-stop guide.

James Franco's The Disaster Artist is just around the corner. The hilarious comedy is the behind-the-scenes story of the making of the 2003 cult classic movie The Room. Self-funded by the unknown Hollywood wannabe Tommy Wiseau, who also wrote, directed and starred in The Roomit was a major flop but instant cult classic as word of mouth quickly spread on how ridiculously funny this serious drama was.
So what makes The Rooma cult hit? The same elements that elevate other bad movies which suffer from well-intentioned but off-the-mark writing and acting. It's hard to pin down, but we think in this particular case it's Wiseau's oddball personality that makes The Room stand out—and Franco's interpretation of it that makes The Disaster Artist...

It's always a good time to check out RiffTrax, but with Halloween being here, there are certain targets that need to be seen.
As we all know, October is the time to watch scary movies. More often than not, that means having to watch really bad scary movies. If you’re going to watch some really bad movies, then you might as well have it accompanied by professional jokes from professional comedy professionals. Enter RiffTrax, the long-running website that stars Mystery Science Theater 3000 mainstays Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett, and Kevin Murphy. Having been around for over a decade, those guys have tackled all sorts of movies about killers and creeps and disco-dancing Draculas.
Here are thirteen targets that I highly suggest checking out. I’m going with all VOD movies because that’s how I roll. Also know that there’s a good chunk of these available on Amazon Prime.

To celebrate the home entertainment release of The Autopsy of Jane Doe we have a copy of the DVD, a limited edition T-Shirt, and signed poster up for grabs, courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment!
An ordinary autopsy turns into a nightmarish ordeal for father and son morticians, played by Brian Cox and Emile Hirsch, in a brilliantly macabre white knuckle horror thriller that’s ‘scary as hell’ (Crave), and ‘not for the squeamish’ (Hollywood Reporter); and none other than the master of horror himself Stephen King raves “Watch it… but not alone”.
Experienced coroner Tommy Tilden (Brian Cox) and his son Austin (Emile Hirsch) run a family-owned morgue and crematorium in Virginia. When the local Sheriff brings in an emergency case – an unknown female corpse nicknamed ‘Jane Doe’, found in the basement of a home where a multiple homicide took place – it seems like just another open-and-shut case. But as the autopsy proceeds,...
