Arthur Mudgin is an ordinary personnel manager trying to do his job while his boss is on his back for a new executive assistant. Out of a sorry list of candidates, a cartoon dog, Buck Boom, comes to apply. In the face of this unusual interviewee, Mudgin's assumptions are overturned as he struggles through the interview.
