Is only as good as what you can expect......

One look at the cover tells you all you need to know about this movie. It is not bad, in it's interesting. Personally I like low budget movies, because I get more out of the story than the acting, and believe me, the acting in this movie is NOT first class! I got a kick out of the children, because of the fact that they are not professionals.

PROBLEMS I HAVE WITH IT:

I Believe the moral message this movie sends is WRONG!

These kids LIE, STEAL and are right out dis-respectful. They have no respect for authority at all and the premise is that it is OK to be that way!

I kind of liked the movie, but I question the family values....

Loved making it, love watching it!

I was one of the main children in this movie, and i must say for the low budget, and the fact that 98% of the actors in this movie were not professionals, it was a great movie. It was really fun to make, really fun to watch being put together and even better to see today, and I show it to my kids so they can see mommy on TV! As for the morals in this movie, hey, just turn on the television and tell me where you see any better ones. The biggest moral of the story was to stand up for someone you believe in, and I don't think we see enough of that today. We stole a file from a police station--big deal. It's still a GREAT family film and even if I wasn't in it, I'd still recommend it.

OK, but don't expect the 3D version to be in 3D!

This is OK as a low budget movie, unfortunately it is being widely advertised as being in "3D".

This is a badly done "conversion" of a flat film. In fact, it is the worst conversion I've ever seen! You'll get more 3D effects watching the 2D version with a pair of pulfrich glasses! This is so bad, I had trouble figuring out whether the stereo sync box should be in normal or reverse, it looked just as "right" (wrong) either way!

Aside from the fake 3D in the "3D" version, is should be noted that the cover has absolutely nothing to do with the movie. Those kids aren't even in the movie, in fact, at least two of them weren't even born yet back in 1994 when this movie was made!
