The cast of Friends used collective bargaining to level out their salaries. As an ensemble cast, they wanted to be treated as equals as their wages grew from $22K per episode to $1M. Each cast member of Friends earned around $90 million in base salary alone from the show before the addition of any backend bonuses and ongoing royalties from syndication, racking each actor up an impressive net worth. For 10 seasons, the Friends cast was considered the gold standard of sitcom television, but where do they stand financially today? Here is the net worth of the Friends cast ranked from richest to poorest.

Alice in Chains played a headlining concert on Thursday (October 5th) in Highland, California, and the grunge icons were joined by a special guest: guitar legend Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne, and the current Pantera lineup.
Wylde took the stage for “Would?” — the closing masterpiece on Dirt and the final song of Alice in Chains’ main set, prior to the encore.
“To be onstage and see Zakk Wylde walk out with my Les Paul, that’s just an honor right there,” said Aic singer-guitarist William DuVall during Wylde’s introduction. “The man’s a genre unto himself.”
Wylde falls right in with Jerry Cantrell and the rest of the band, tactfully complementing the rhythm section rather than trying to get to showy. But during the chorus, he displays his masterful right-hand pick work, adding some tasteful syncopations and additional chunk to the mix.
Wylde’s appearance isn’t too surprising.

The Tremors 4: The Legend Begins episode of Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? was Written by Cody Hamman, Narrated by Travis Hopson, Edited by Ric Solomon, Produced by Andrew Hatfield and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
The subterranean creatures known as Graboids are prehistoric life-forms. And the first Tremors movie wasn’t the story of humanity’s first encounter with them. In fact, there was a series of Graboid attacks just one hundred years earlier. Four movies into the Tremors franchise, we got a prequel that took us back to the Old West for a tale of cowboys and monsters. It’s Tremors 4: The Legend Begins (watch it Here) – which turned out to be the least successful installment in the series. We’re going to try to figure out why in this episode of What the F*ck Happened to This Horror Movie!

Get ready to delve into The Music of Heatmiser. The Portland band best known as Elliott Smith’s pre-solo career springboard has announced a new rarities compilation arriving October 6th via Third Man Records, and a demo version of the track “Lowlife” is out now.
Heatmiser initially distributed The Music of Heatmiser — then a 6-song cassette — at local record stores and shows to promote the band before they released their 1993 debut LP, Dead Air. According to co-founding singer-guitarist Neil Gust, this longer package — featuring 23 additional demos, live tracks, rare versions, and previously unreleased songs — came together thanks to drummer Tony Lash.
“Tony found a bunch of forgotten recordings and started mixing them and sending them to me,” Gust said in a statement. “We were struck by the freewheeling energy of the band; you could hear how much fun we were having. In 1992 we could barely afford the studio so it...

In the summer of 1989, Paul McCartney hit the road for the first time as a solo artist. The Wings tours of the Seventies had featured only a smattering of Beatles songs, but this time around he was going to play nearly 20 a night. Pulling this off would require a guitarist who was capable of re-creating some very famous parts originally played by George Harrison and John Lennon. In the 2021 documentary "Val," movie star Val Kilmer makes a delicate confession. "I have behaved poorly." He then adds, "I have behaved bravely, bizarrely to some." It's a moving film in large part because this once vibrantly talented performer has lost his voice to throat cancer, and you're inclined to accept the apology and let the past be the past. The archival footage shot by the actor is so lovingly strung together that it would feel jarringly inappropriate to reckon with what a jerk he could be during the height of his stardom.
According to a very well-sourced 1996 Entertainment Weekly article by Rebecca Ascher-Walsh, Kilmer got into a shoving match with his "Batman Forever" director Joel Schumacher. "He was being irrational and ballistic with the first Ad, the cameraman, the costume people," he said. "He was badly behaved, he was rude and inappropriate. I was forced to tell him that...

Tove Lo is describing the rubber dildo she wore in the Nevada desert. “It was this art piece, and I was so honoured to put it on,” says the Swedish pop Svengali. “It was basically a corset with this kind of… dick attached.” She scrunches her expression, as if that’s not quite correct. “A dick-thong… belt?” She gives up. “It was a strap-on, pretty much.”
In the visual for “2 Die 4”, a track from her fifth album Dirt Femme, Lo wanted to depict masculinity and femininity all at once. Or, as she puts it: “Wonder Woman with big dick energy”. So she slipped on a bodysuit and that bulbous gold member, ignored the early morning chill in the air and the tourists on the horizon, and set about strutting. This statistic is based on “hours watched domestically in the first 3 days,” Disney+ notes.
Clearly, audiences across the United States were hungry to see the return of the Sanderson Sisters, with Hocus Pocus 2 making for one of this Halloween season’s first big events. For years those who never found much to love about the original movie have been wondering how big the fanbase really is, and it would seem we now a definitive answer to that question.

Some go-to advice for scriptwriting is to pitch your work as "x meets y"; two things with proven success mashed together. Vince Gilligan, the creator of "Breaking Bad," famously pitched the series as "Mr. Chips becomes Scarface." The boldness of that pitch won over then Sony Pictures Television executives Zack Van Amburg and Jamie Erlicht. Once Gilligan had them on his side to produce the series, he needed to find a network that would air it. This proved a challenge, with most of the prestige networks saying no before AMC finally said yes.
The struggle to find a home for "Breaking Bad" is shocking considering how successful the show became. However, Gilligan's recounting of his efforts is a pretty great story itself. Here's every network he pitched "Breaking Bad" to, and why they all said no.

Tove Lo is getting through some rock-hard terrain. The Sanderson sisters are back – again. In the first footage of “Hocus Pocus 2,” they’re looking to take the stage.
Once again, Winifred (Bette Midler), Sarah (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mary (Kathy Najimy) have magically returned on Halloween thanks to a Salem resident lighting the Black Flame Candle. This time, a young girl named Becca (played by Whitney Peak) is the culprit. Becca is coming up on her 16th birthday, which, according to Sam Richardson’s magic store owner Gilbert, is the milestone at which new witches receive their powers. So while the young Dani Dennison (Thora Birch) faked being a witch back in the original “Hocus Pocus,” it appears that our hero could be the real thing this round. She’s certainly at least interested in toying with witchcraft.
You can watch the full teaser trailer for “Hocus Pocus 2” in the video above.

The characters in Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead’s films shouldn’t be in these situations. They’re out of their depth, caught up on a conspiracy, a cult, or an idea that’s far beyond their grasp. Once again using the DIY model, Benson and Moorhead co-direct and co-star in their newest human science-fiction adventure, playing two Los Angeles dudes who interact with a floating crystal.
John (Moorhead) and Levi (Benson) reside in the same apartment complex, brought together by a severe lack of action in their lives. Once they start to experience odd, supernatural happenings, most of which surrounding the aforementioned floating rock, they grab all of the video equipment they...
