This special episode has film critics Roger Ebert, Ray Pride, Jonathan Rosenbaum, Dann Gire and Michael Wilmington discussing Stanley Kubrick's legacy as well as his last movie EYES WIDE SHUT. If you're a fan of Kubrick then you should enjoy this roundtable as the critics discuss some of his earlier work as well as a more detailed look at EYES WIDE SHUT. For the most part this episode does a nice job at breaking down the film as well as talk around the film before it was released and what happened after Kubrick died (before its release). There's a nice discussion on the film's R-rating and the digital things that were done in order to make sure the movie didn't get a NC-17. This here leads to a great discussion on the rating system and why you can show an axe murder yet not some sort of sexuailty. One wishes that this episode could have been longer so that they could have gone into more details.
