- TriviaWhen he's out on the ledge, Les quotes passages from two William Shakespeare plays. The first is the famous "To be or not to be" soliloquy from Hamlet. The second is a passage from Act 3, Scene 2 of Henry VIII.
- GoofsWhen Herb leans out the window and tells Les, "You know, I thought about it and it's okay if you're gay," the word "gay" doesn't match his lip movement. He actually said, "it's okay if you're a homo."
- Quotes
Les Nessman: You wanted to see me?
Arthur Carlson: Oh, uh, yes, of course we do, Les. Uh, look, would you just sit down right over here please, right here in the chair, 'cause Herb has something that he wants to tell you. C'mon Andy, let's go.
Andy Travis: No, you and I should both stay.
Arthur Carlson: Okay, uh, Herb, you uh, you tell him.
Herb Tarlek: Les, Jennifer's a guy!
Arthur Carlson, Andy Travis: [simultaneously] *What*?
- Alternate versionsThe song Johnny plays at the beginning, "They Called It Rock" by Nick Lowe, has been replaced on the 90's redistribution package and DVD release. The generic music for Les's introductory fanfare has also been replaced by different generic music.
