A bit weak.
This is a not particularly interesting episode of "Racket Squad". A young lady comes to Captain Braddock with her tale of woe. It seems she met a guy who was convalescing in the hospital and they soon married. However, their life together was very tough, as the man had a hard time getting work. Eventually, he did get a job working at an advertising company. However, because they were poor, he dressed pretty shabbily and this bothered him.
Later, a loud-mouthed old acquaintance comes by to visit--along with his addle-brained wife. During the course of the evening he mentioned some so-called 'suit club' where a guy can get a great suit cheaply. Because they guy needs a new suit so badly, he begged his friend to help him. The 'friend' will--provided he also sign up the rest of the guys at the office. Not surprisingly, the clothing turns out to be cheap crap--and they refused to refund the money.
As I said, the story just isn't very interesting and never particularly held my interest. Plus the dumb wife was simply too dumb to be believable! One of the series' weaker efforts.
