Maguire is on the hunt for a nasty serial killer.
A serial killer is targeting young women, who have a nasty habit of ending up in The Thames, is it possible that an escort agency could hold a few answers?
A watchable enough early episode, with a good amount of atmosphere, some food characters, and it's the acting debut of the wonderful Barbara Steele, who's rather good I thought, and very striking.
John Harvey is great here as Peter Anderson, an incredibly deep and unique speaking voice, he plays the part of the would be suspect incredibly well.
So it's not perfect, there are a couple of minor irritations, the thought of Scotland Yard having files on people's particular peculiar habits, it's a little bit of a stretch, and to arrive at Peter in fifteen seconds time was a little curious at best.
These are always watchable, and the visuals are always a treat.
6/10.
