• Kara Danvers : Good evening. This is Kara Danvers with CatCo Media, and this is a worldwide exclusive. I'm here with the hero who has been fighting in the shadows. This is Dreamer. My first question, who are you?

  Kara Danvers : So you are both human and alien.

  Dreamer : Yes. My parents believed that humans and aliens could co-exist. And I am living proof of that. But growing up wasn't easy. I am also a trans woman. I'm different, Ms. Danvers, but so is everybody. And I don't know when that became such a bad thing. The greatest gift we can give each other is our authentic selves and sharing that. Sharing our truth is what will make us strong. So here I am. I am both human and alien. And I am a trans woman. S'mores are my favorite dessert. But I will always choose salty over sweet. I broke my nose when I was fifteen during a game of kickball. And my mother was my heart. And since I lost her, it's felt like a piece of me is missing. But my father is my spine. I'm a Gryffindor. Uh, my Patronus is a dapple gray stallion. I'm an INFP. Uh, a Miranda. House Stark. I love Thursdays and April. And nerdy boys who think too much. And I am proud of all that I am.

  Kara Danvers : You should be.

  Querl Dox : [watching with Lena]  What does... love feel like?

  Kara Danvers : Are you afraid of how the world will react to you now that they know you're an alien?

  Dreamer : Of course. But you know what else? Fear sucks. It sucks. And I am so sick of feeling hopeless. Dawn doesn't come unless we want it to. But we don't have to wait for a new day. We are the new day.

  Kara Danvers : Your mother would be so proud of you.

• Alien Woman : He's not an anti-human conspirator.

  Marcus : [manhandling an alien]  Let's go.

  Alien Woman : He didn't do anything.

  Marcus : Let's go!

  Alien Woman : He's innocent.

  Marcus : Open the door.

  Alien Woman : Please. He's a good man.

  Ben Lockwood : If he were a man, we wouldn't be in this situation now. Don't make a scene. Your children, they just lost their father. I would hate to see them lose their mother, too.

• George Lockwood : [rounding up aliens with his father]  They look so human, I... sometimes I forget.

  Ben Lockwood : Yeah. It's a lot easier when there's a snake coming out of the back of their head. We can't humanize them, son. So remember, don't ever mistake them for anything but the roaches that they are.

• Ben Lockwood : I want this Dreamer detained. Now.

• Ben Lockwood : Dreamer, you are under arrest for using an illegal, seditious broadcast to incite violence.

  Kara Danvers : You're the only one inciting violence. We're unarmed.

  Ben Lockwood : This will be easy, then.

  Alex Danvers : [next to a fuse box]  Ready, Brainy.

  [she turns the power off; Kara and Dreamer use the darkness to escape] 

  Ben Lockwood : Where is she? Find her and detain her.

• Ben Lockwood : Dreamer! You're coming with me.

  [James catches his fist, crushing the bones in his hand, and crumples the barrel of his gun] 

  James Olsen : Get out of CatCo. Now.

  Ben Lockwood : Not without the alien.

  James Olsen : What alien? All I see are journalists exercising their right to freedom of speech and doing their duty to uphold freedom of press. So unless you're gonna re-write the Constitution, get out now!

  Ben Lockwood : I don't know what happened to you, or how you did this. But I'll find out.

  [to his agents] 

  Ben Lockwood : Come on!

  [he turns to leave, then stops] 

  Ben Lockwood : Oh, and I will find this... Dreamer.
