It is the season to fall in love. February is just around the corner, and every person in love or seeking it is switching on to movies that tap into the emotion. There is no greater form of feeling than love, and with Valentine’s Day just two weeks away, it would be interesting to know what kind of movies could be viewed on that day with your loved ones. After is a series of five films based on Anna Todd’s series of novels that chronicles the stories of Tessa Young and Hardin Scott, who fall in love during their time in college.
The first film, After, was all about Tessa Young rediscovering her life in college after growing up under the thumb of her mother. She planned everything about her daughter’s life, including the college she would attend and what she would pursue after her education was completed.

The “After” series has had a long journey. Starting as a One Direction Harry Styles fan fiction published on Wattpad by Anna Todd, the story was later reformatted to become an original novel series detailing the tumultuous relationship between college student Tessa Young and tortured bad boy Hardin Scott. Five years after the novel was published, the first book was turned into the film “After” starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin as Tessa and Hardin.
Since 2019 there have been four installments in the “After” movie series with one coming out consistently every year.
The story started as a college romance but over the course of the films, Tessa and Hardin’s relationship has undergone a series of dramatic changes. The first film connected the two over their love of literature and saw Tessa opening herself up to try and make a relationship with Hardin work. “After We Collided” introduced...

FBI Agent Victoria Travers seems to be some kind of adrenaline junkie. She has a habit of doing things her own way, risks be damned. And after once again bringing a suspect in without waiting for backup her boss Lockwood tells her she’s taking a vacation whether she likes it or not. Judging by the way she calls him a son of a bitch we can assume she doesn’t like it.
For reasons of budget, the film’s not Victoria’s, she, along with her husband Steve and their daughter Juliette (Alma Petra Vago) decide Romania is the perfect place to take a vacation. Except it’s not much of a vacation because almost immediately after they arrive she spots wanted criminal John Slater.

You're probably pretty familiar with Cole and Dylan Sprouse if you grew up in the '90s. The 27-year-old twins started acting when they were only 8 months old and haven't stopped since. They got their big break playing Ross Geller's son, Ben, on "Friends" and the adorable Julian in Adam Sandler's "Big Daddy" but gained a huge following with their Disney Channel show "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and its spinoff series,"The Suite Life on Deck."
Even though they took some time off to attend NYU, the pair have continued acting through the years, with Cole taking on the role of Jughead on "Riverdale," and Dylan starring as Trevor in "After We Collided" in 2020. More recently, Dylan took on a role in another romantic drama, "Beautiful Disaster," which premiered on Netflix on April 12, 2023.

TV stars can’t always demand the kind of high-paying gigs entertainers receive for movies. This is even more true when it comes to child actors. However, in some cases, breakout stars are able to negotiate paydays that make their peers jealous. Cole and Dylan Sprouse, the titular stars of the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, certainly qualify.

On the show, the young actors — who broke through on TV’s Grace Under Fire and the 1999 film Big Daddy — play Zack and Cody Martin. The twin brothers live in a suite at Boston’s Tipton Hotel.

With the Christmas winter storms no longer a factor, 20th Century’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” and Universal/DreamWorks’ “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” are both showing strongholds at the New Year’s weekend box office, a sign that they will keep bringing out audiences well into January.
“Avatar 2” is currently estimated for a 4-day weekend of 87 million in North America, holding its drop from Christmas weekend to just 8 after dropping 37 the previous weekend. By the end of Monday, James Cameron’s blockbuster will be on the doorstep of 450 million domestically and have blown by 1.3 billion in worldwide grosses.
The film’s 134 million opening weekend was below independent projections of a 150-170 million opening, prompting a drop in Disney’s stock price and murmurs in financial publications that “Avatar 2” was going to disappoint theatrically. But the film’s fate was never going to be written in opening weekend,...

’There is no point in releasing 25 movies a year. We need to be selective,’ says Belga’s Patrick Vandenbosch.

Spoken English evolved such useful phrases as “blah blah blah” and “yada yada yada” so that in conversation we don’t have to suffer through numbingly repetitive descriptions of the perfectly obvious. Sadly, no such shorthand exists in the “After” universe, which, now on its fourth instalment, seems dedicated to spinning the already vanishingly wispy romance between good-girl Tessa and bad-boy Hardin, YA fiction’s most colossally boring golden couple, into ever thinner straw. After a placeholder second film (“After We Collided”) and a wheel-spinning third (“After We Fell”), the new episode — which itself ramps up to a face-palming “to be continued” — can’t even charitably be said to be blah. It’s the space between the blahs.
Laboring under the aggravatingly agrammatical title of “After Ever Happy” (hats off if you get the order of those three words right on your first attempt), this desultory go-round picks up at...

That's amore! Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin took their love abroad to Italy for the 79th Venice International Film Festival, where they walked the White Noise red carpet together hand in hand. It's clear the pair remain as happy as ever as they couldn't help but share a sweet moment together in photographs taken on Aug. 31. The After We Collided star and the model channeled old Hollywood glam with their outfits with Barbara—who is an ambassador for Armani Beauty—wearing a black sequin dress. Her gown is an archival Armani Privé piece from the brand's spring 2019 couture collection. Dylan chose a black and white tuxedo ensemble for the event,...

You may know Hero Fiennes Tiffin as bad boy Hardin from "After," "After We Collided," "After We Fell," and "After Ever Happy," and while, yes, he is very, very hot, there's more to him than meets the eye. Tiffin is both an actor and a model, and you may also recognize him as young Voldemort from "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
Recently, Tiffin starred in the romance film "First Love" alongside Sydney Park. Tiffin was initially reluctant to do another romance film because he wanted to branch out into other genres, but he was intrigued by the "different style of romance" in "First Love." He explained to Popsugar in June, "I was slightly worried about doing so many romances, because I'd be putting myself in a bit of a box, but I think I did the opposite of that by taking on another romance with such a different style.

Last month, we learned that Lionsgate is funding a horror film based on the novel Creepers (pick up a copy Here) by First Blood author David Morrell. At the time, it was said that Skylan Brooks (The Darkest Minds) would be one of the film’s cast members – but Deadline reports that Brooks is no longer involved with the project. Taking over the role he was going to play is Shane Paul McGhie, who is best known for playing the role of Landon in After and After We Collided. (McGhie then passed the role over to Chance Perdomo for After We Fell.)

Exclusive: Even before the pandemic, the foreign sales market became mired down with some risky bets, i.e. the over exorbitant Roland Emmerich sci-fi disaster title Moonfall which carried a 140M production cost (resulting in a 44.3M WW gross), and Simon Kinberg’s femme spy ensemble The 355 at a 75M cost (which grossed just under 28M WW).
But there’s arguably a safer way to make moolah in the foreign sales sphere and that’s off of YA feature adaptations.

The next two instalments in the popular After franchise – After We Fell and After Ever Happy – won’t be repeating the box office feats of the previous films in the UK and France, where Amazon Prime Video has picked up exclusive rights to launch the titles directly online.
The original movie, 2019’s After, grossed $10M theatrically in France, while the sequel, 2020’s After We Collided, took more than $5M from UK cinemas.
This time out, Amazon will premiere the movies first. The streamer did not confirm a release date but the films are due to release theatrically in other markets from September 1, with the U.S. rollout scheduled for October.
Stars Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin return for next two sequels to the hit YA pics, which shot back-to-back at the end of 2020. Director Castille Landon is onboard for a further sequel as well as a prequel.

We didn't think the After franchise could get even more dramatic, but After We Fell is here to prove us wrong. On Thursday, Voltage Pictures released the latest trailer for the upcoming third installment of the franchise, which is based on Anna Todd's book series. As Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) and Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) attempt to repair their relationship following the events of After We Collided, they are hit with even more new obstacles. Be warned, though: some of these scenes are definitely Nsfw.
Langford and Fiennes Tiffin first announced that After We Fell and After Ever After were in production back in September 2020, shortly before the release of the second film. The third film is set to release on Sept. 30. Until then, you can revisit the first two movies, which are currently streaming on Netflix.
