On March 12th, 2002, Julie Aigner-Clark released a video called Baby Newton: All About Shapes. It was an awesome video and it could go down as one of the best Baby Einstein videos of all time. It has a large amount of creativity and is very enjoyable and nostalgic. However, one thing that let the video down for some people was that Clark decided to include CGI characters in the video. I don't find this to be a big deal, but since other people do, Disney decided to make Discovering Shapes.

For all parents who buy Baby Einstein videos for your kids...

DO NOT BUY DISCOVERING SHAPES! IT IS MUCH WORSE THAN BABY NEWTON! IT IS VERY BORING AND UNCREATIVE! IT SEEMS LIKE IT TOOK THEM A WEEK TO MAKE THE VIDEO AND THEN THEY SHIPPED IT OUT!

The rhino is a very annoying character who makes very weird sounds that will annoy the heck out of you. The toys are bland for the most part and have nothing special about them. And the video is just plain boring.

As a small child, I loved Baby Newton and I would watch it a lot. When I first watched Discovering Shapes, I wanted to smash my head into the television. I was so bored that I fell asleep and I never watched it again. Even Baby's First Sounds, another mediocre Baby Einstein production, is better than this!

Summary: DO NOT BUY! BABY NEWTON IS MUCH BETTER!

Update: I don't think this anymore I'm just keeping this review for archive purposes for myself. I recommend any Baby Einstein videos to buy for your kids they're better than other kids shows.
