Following its Sundance 2022 premiere, the film was bought for distribution by HBOmax with an intended 2022 streaming release. However, with the many changes and challenges that faced its parent company, Warner Bros., in the years since the acquisition and an entire rebrand of the streaming service into MAX - Am I OK? (2022) has yet to see any type of release, resulting in Warner Bros. essentially shelving the film indefinitely.
