Ben Miller, who plays Professor T, actually studied at Cambridge University prior to pursuing a career in comedy. By a bizarre coincidence, a comedy partner of his lived in the house which is used in the series as Adelaide's and Professor T's house.
On Wednesday, 6th October 2021, ITV announced that they had commissioned a 6-episode second series of the crime drama. Filming on series two was scheduled to commence in Belgium and the UK in Spring 2022.
According to the 'behind-the-scenes' specials, it's one of the few TV shows actually filmed, with official acknowledgment, in and about colleges and the city of Cambridge. Another is Grantchester (2014).
The Composer of the series (Hannes De Maeyer) also wrote the music for the original Belgian series.
Whenever vehicles appear they have been provided with fake number plates, often with future year designations (eg 90 or 72) and invariably including one of the prohibited letters I and Q. This is not the case in S01 Ep. 5, where the two number plates visible are both valid.
