It's funny. Whenever Daniel remembers his past, every time he gets to the time he opened a Banzai Tree store, he shakes his head as if such a memory is... cheesiness galore, which is basically the third movie, that even this series notes as being a severely weak link in the canon, and so bringing back Terry feels like if there were a Godfather 4 and George Hamilton still replaced Robert Duvall, making Terry all but giving Creese money to have more power or something...
The good thing about this episode, which is the best one so far, is the show's getting back on track and becoming its very own season instead of attempts to restart from the others...
And that the new character, Urkel Son, has relevance, connecting to not just Daniel's skinnier son (who is still entirely worthless) but Johnny's son Robbie, an important character so, one of the main characters so, who knows... Maybe Jaden Smith's Surrogate still has some worth... He surely came alive in this episode and doesn't feel as forced any longer...
